Astros "You Make the Call Contest" HELP me join Astros broadcast team

    Mr. Del Barrio, did you have professional or at least some "amateur" education for broadcasting? Did you take some classes for this? It sounds like you have it down.

    Also, I don't know if anyone else noticed, or you... but I don't want to say it's a bad thing... you stutter a bit when thinking about something to ask, like in the interview with the player... but on the play-by-play, I am not sure if you were the one originally on the video, or you just used the video to do play-by-play... how did you do that one? Were you at the game?

    Anyways, you're pretty good, and better than some local sports peeps. :eek:

    The only clip where I took audio and put it over different video was the opening clip from the championship win as I was on radio while Versus did the TV broadcast. I did all the games seen on NBA TV and the other football games on there as well..

    Hope that helps..

    As for the stutter.. I am conversational interviewer...I usually only have one question going into an interview and let the conversation flow...My interview with Lucas was my first in almost a year, plus being in the dugout at minute maid park... well that can be a little intimidating haha..No excuses and it is what it is...Thanks for the critique..
