Hardly saw Terry Crews in the trailer, except for the beginning. Hopefully he isn't killed off. The guy made the first movie hilarious.

Jet Li had some sick beatdowns early on in the movie and it would have been extremely funny if Li and Lundgren both riffed on each other but he was only in it for like 5 mins??? My only nitpick of the film and far surpass the original in every way..

Pure 80/90s action movie badassness in all its cheesy glory. It's everything the first movie should have been!

My only real complaints: the ending could have been a little better and Chuck Norris' appearance was way random and out of place.

    In fact
I'd rather have seen Jet Li come back to save the gang in the "America" town than to see Norris.

Love all the easter egg lines in the movie!

    The bad:

Expendables 2 screenings canceled due to bomb threats [IMG]

Chuck Norris and Jet Li needed more screen time. I thought it was mediocre in all respects

Do I need to have seen the first movie to get this one? Incredibly bored in Raleigh and was looking for a movie to watch.

    Chuck Norris is way overrated.

Definitely would dig Eastwood and Wesley Snipes for 3... They seriously should bring in Vin Diesel and The Rock...how bout Michelle Rodriguez too.

Vin Diesel only does movies every 3 years when he is broke and the movie has to be Fast and Furious.

    It's in his contract.

I came across this the other day. I had no idea about Lundgren's life, but I'm really surprised and impressed - master's degree in chem engineering, fullbright scholarship to MIT, then dated Grace Jones which eventually led to his acting career. And his family was held hostage at one point but the hostage takers took off when they realized it was his family.. Which makes this all even harder to believe. It would make for an interesting autobiography.

I would like the first 2 but please no to the others. I cant stand Vin Diesel. Chuck Norris was an action star. The younger people on this board probably dont get that.
