ppl on this board got something against euro type players.. no matter how good they are they will be thrown under the bus just like scola was. Llull is a very good player.
Yeap. The ideal player on this board is someone like John Wall or Amare. Run fast, jump high and dunk it hard and you are A+ on this board. If you play a ground game with skill and finesse you are soft/useless like Scola/Gasol. Defense is not needed or valued much. Both type of players are good but on this board the skill/finesse style is considered worthless.
Ummm....what? Anyways - 30 teams, at least 2 PG's on every team (several with 3), roughly 80 PG's in the NBA..... He carved minutes on the second best team in the world, who took our very best players in the NBA to the edge... ...yeah doesn't like a guy like that should find any minutes out of the 80 PG's running around.....
Sadly this is true around the league as well. Part of the reason why Duncan doesn't get the respect he deserves. And why Pau is undervalued.

He is not worth the the drama that I fear will start up in this thread. He isn't great at scoring or passing but he is a solid player. That being said, based off what I pick up when I do try to follow him the man has been coming off the bench of his EURO team for a while and despite being drafted by the Rockets a while ago, reupped his contract with his Euro team because he heard bad stuff from Rudy Fernandez or some other Spanish player that didn't crack the starting line up and then went back to Europe to start. I suspect he knows he isn't good enough to make but the bare bones as far as money over here and won't come over. Thus threads based on his performances are wasted effort, he is as much a Rocket product as Tracy McGrady is.

When did he get "Batumed"? You are obviously not paying attention. Fernandez is long athletic defending wing who can also handle the ball. He would also be another offensive weapon from the perimeter. Not a superstar but more than a glue guy.
