Yo guys, made this poll to see what percentage of the board thinks Yao may ctually accomplish something against Shaq in our next game. I know the majority think Shaq will demolish Yao, but let's find out what the general consensus looks like.
In all of Yao's nationaly televised games he has come up big. I think that Yao is going to come out and have a great game putting up 20/10 with a few blocks. Shaq will do better but Yao will get his respect. Shaq will edge out Yao gets my vote.
It seems like Yao is hitting the wall right now (can't blame him since he's played in like 100 games in the last 12 months) while Shaq and the Lakers are starting to hot their stride. Shaq obviously has some issues w/ Ming so look for Shaq to come out really strong. Our best hope is that Shaq tries to do too much and get himself and the Lakers out of their game. Ming will have to bring Shaq out a little when he;s playing O and if Shaq doesn't Ming will be able to hit J's from the elbow b/c he won't be able to do too much inside. Good luck to Yao though!
Just like the stock market works. When everybody is bullish and driving the price up, I will sell or short the stock. When everybody is bearish and driving the price down, I will buy good fundamentally-sound stocks. So right now, when a lot of people are bearish on Yao, I would predict Yao has an edge over Shaq on Friday. Yao will break his career high 30 points on Friday. Yao 34 points 17 rebounds Shaq 26 points 15 rebounds
