I'm surprised nobody posted this yet. Did anybody see Man vs Beast on Fox tonight? I thought some of the competitions were hilarious, like the midgets pulling the airplane and the sumo wrestler vs the orangutan in tug of war.

I heard about it but didn't get to watch. Who were the winners?

I didnt see all of them cause I was watching the Rockets:D. As for some of the winners I saw: The Orangutan beat the sumo wrestler in tug of war, the elephant beat the midgets pulling the airplane, the sprinter beat the giraffe but got smoked by the zebra and the former navy seal beat the chimp on the obstacle course.

I've never been able to understand why midgets and dwarves prefer to be called "little people." "Little people" seems so much more condescending to me...I think it would piss me off were I a midget.

Did anyone else think that the sumo tug-of-war stunt looked staged? It sure didn't look like the ape was pulling too hard, and then, all of a sudden, the wrestler stood up and took what *appeared to be* a dive into the mudbath. Just my opinion.

Didn't see it all because of the game, but the bear out ate the man easily. The bear would eat 3-4 hotdogs at a time like it was nothing and basically just swallow them.

I like to hold beast versus beasts contests ( in Iraq or something so it's legal)

Mongoose versus King Cobra would be my first matchup.

I did not see it but the ESPN report said the Bear won.

The only segment I watched. The Bear ate all 50 hotdogs. The Japanese guy only ate 31. The funny thing is they had commentary like it was a real sporting event.

I thought the same thing. It looked like the sumo wrestler quit and dived into the mud.
