Who cares about Josh Smith? We already have enough PFs and Asik is locked for 3 years.

If we are talking about how Howard might go to Atlanta, Atlanta doesn't have anything to trade anymore, they just have to wait until next off season when he is a FA, unless Orlando is super desperate and both the Lakers and Rockets pull out of trade talks.

It really has nothing to do about this latest rumor. It has everything to do about every rumor not having to do with him coming to Houston. It also has a lot to do with posters here not being able to read between the lines.

JSmoove is on an expiring deal. Twill be interesting to see who is willing to throw major jack at him next offseason. I wouldn't trade for the guy personally. He may actually be willing to walk here to play with Dwight for a good value contract. Otherwise, move on. He's not a franchise player. He's a nice complementary piece and frankly, with his poor shooting, and his duplicative defensive skills with Dwight, he's probably not a great fit next to Dwight even though they want to play together. JSmoove is like another Gilbert Arenas or Glen Davis, one of Dwight's bosom buddies that if a dumb GM signs, will wind up helping the team underperform.

Dwight needs a PF that can spread the floor and make plays either shooting or off the PnR with Dwight. Smith or Big Baby do not really fit that description.

I just want everyone to remember one thing. Every other team that has been connected to Howard thru rumors have no chance at him til trade deadline or next offseason. Except LA.
Why isn't he here yet? Orlando can't be waiting for a better offer because the offers get worse as time passes. Our offer is and always has the best out there. This trade should have gone down before the draft.
    Why is he not here?

No, it has everything to do with you having man crushes on players that played well in Summer League. SMH.

You overhype these players and do the opposite to a top 3 player. That's why nobody takes your posts seriously.

    1) Dude stop pretending to be some sort of "Oracle".....your making
ASSumptions and calling it "reading beween the lines"
    ...NO ONE here
knows exactly what Morey has offered all we do know is Bynum's refusal
to resign with Orlando gives us the greatest probability to land D12...
we have the flexability/assets to make it happen along with a GM willing
to roll the dice on resigning him..

    2) Why has the trade not happened?....because you have two GM's that
have watched too many Clint Eastwood movies and are playing some
sort of "Mexican Standoff".... neither want's to come out of this looking
    like a caveman......

It's very simple. Orlando is trying to get more for Dwight. And the only way to do it is to figure out some convoluted trade that sends him to the Lakers.

It's simply not going to happen. Welcome to Houston, Dwight Howard.
