Which player would you want taking a shot with the game on the line?
    1. Kobe Bryant, L.A. Lakers -- 48.1%
    2. Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City -- 30.8%
Also receiving votes: Ray Allen, Boston; Carmelo Anthony, New York; Manu Ginobili, San Antonio; Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas; Chris Paul, L.A. Clippers; Dwyane Wade, Miami

Lebron wasn't on the list in 2011-2012 NBA.com GM survey.

I guess you haven't been following the NBA prior to the Finals.

Carmelo would be the greatest player in Europe history with numbners that make people argue he could be the greatest player ever. Unfortunately, he doesn't get the internal 3pt line as a member of the Knicks, so that means he'll just be chucking up more and more shots he can't make, or shots like T-Mac's patented "foot on the line" jumper that make his fans want to throw their brains in a blender.

Damn son. Sounds intense, I'd love to get a roll in and see the differences and similarities. One of my coaches is a Marine. I have nothing but respect for the men that do a great service for this nation.

Id rather have our rookies over Melo. He always make dumb selfish comments. At least he speaks his mind though.

Btw I'm a green belt in mcmap! I'm cool too right? haha

I can't lie i do like melo, his offense is something else but i also do se how he has to many flaws on and off the court to be a likable player league wide.

Who the hell cares what dudes like Billy King or Otis Smith or Kahn thinks?

LBJ was the 2x MVP prior to last year. Choke artist my ass, that's just overblown LBJ hate. A truly clutch player will always win games because winning games is the definition of clutch. If Melo is so clutch why didn't he clutch the Nuggets to a Finals appearance despite having a stacked team?

because he played an even more stacked team that had two of 3 best players in that matchup, one of whom was better than Carmelo at that point.

So why was he considered the clutch player? Not sure why you think the Knicks LOSING to Miami proves Melo is more clutch, when as a clutch player his team shouldn't be losing at all.

Also while Miami is probably the most talented team in the NBA they aren't "stacked", they have only 3 great players, 1 sidekick, 2 borderline starters and a bunch of scrubs. That's not exactly a stacked team, any one of the big 3 has a bad game and one of the two remaining guys has to put up historic numbers just to win games. Compare that to the Boston team with 3 All stars, Rondo and Perkins, PJ Brown and an experienced bench.
