Baseketball -- From all the previews, I thought this movie would be AWFUL. Turned out to be memorably hilarious.

Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking your Juice in the Hood -- "Salary Desired . . . 'Three million dollars . . . CASH!'". . . OMG this movie is flat out hilarious. Watch that and Office Space back to back -- funniest few hours of your life :)

I liked Home Alone when it came out, but I was also not very old at the time so that is probably why. But it is still well done

I can't believe no one has mentioned "Coming to America". I think it is clearly Eddie Murphy's funniest movie.

Agree with most of the above, and thought of a few not on someone's list that are great...

    Some Like It Hot
    The Great Race
    Bringing Up Baby
    Annie Hall
    It Happened One Night
    The Apartment

    And, of course...
It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World
    (Which it is!)

I'm also a HUGE fan of Dr. Strangelove and The Big Lebowski. (although I wasn't as political as The Dude, not having ever joined a group with a number in it ;), I relate very strongly to his character... much of it could have been me several years ago)

edit- Bob, you thought of Annie Hall! (grrrrr... ;))
