Race held him back for years and now its going to help him. Get over it.

Side note: Can we put all these Lin stories in a single thread. There's like 5 threads about essentially the same thing.

You're American. You're favorite player is American. How offensive.

Also, I'm sure you dont know this, but players like Kobe, Vince, T-Mac and others have all been very popular China.

Just ignore the troll. People like him thrive on getting a reaction because it's the only time someone will talk to him.

Lol at Jeremy. He was asked at a press conference which player he wanted most to improve the Rockets if he was the GM. He answered "LeBron". And then the host asked "What about Dwight Howard?". He answered "We can use him, if he wants to come".

Lin was also asked about the Miami game. He said something like "I was bad at that game. I tried not to remember them but couldn't. But I will get to play them next year. Don't tell them about it.".

Good for him that he still remembers. Lord knows the game was a mess. Happy that he is still bothered by it. He will come back hard next game.

The host actually asked Lin out of the 3 SFs, LeBron, Durant and Anthony, who is the best. He said he always thought LeBron's the best player in the nba for the last 5 years. And then the host said "Melo will be angry now.". And Lin added that he thought Melo's the best scorer, if you need a 2 or 3 in a game, you go with him. I think he deflected it very well.

He was also asked what was his most memorable game last season. He said it's the game vs Toronto and he felt God's with him when he hit that 3 pointer.

Why doesn't he speak Mando? he clearly understands it?

Chinese people are whack man, the guy can't even speak their language properly and they welcome him like a long lost son.

His an American Chinese first, American second and then Taiwanese third. If he identifies as Taiwanese at all.

Big difference between grasping the basic jist or understanding the point - and being able to command the language at will. This is common with many 2nd and 3rd generation asians.

Chinese people aren't wack ~ stop the flamebaiting.

The actual quote is that Lin was asked what he would suggest to the Rockets GM to improve the team. He said that he would suggest the Rockets GM to use every way possible to trade for LeBron. He would offer everything. He would even offer himself to get LeBron! It's a bit different to Riley. Lol.
