This show absolutely gets better and better every week.

I think tonight's episode was hands down the best.

I can't believe they showed that torture scene on freakin' network TV.

    Best TV line ever:

Nina: "You didn't think it would end like this, huh Jack?"
Jack (deadpans): "This isn't over yet."

Palmer's ex-wife is bugging the hell out of me, as is Nina (naturally!)

I can't believe how great this freakin' show is! I actually feel a tiny adrenaline rush at the end of each show.

If I were the President or CTU, I'd sneak a sniper up on the hill behind Nina. As soon as I found the bomb, !!!BANG!!! Screw the Presidential pardon. Nobody has to know about it.

Well, we know Jack isn't going to die. He'll either pull some awesome commando trick to get away from Nina or get bailed out somehow by the CTU chopper crew. My money is on the former.

What exactly was being done to this guy in the torture scene that they showed on network TV? I was watching the Rockets game, but I could hear him being tortured in the background (someone else in the house was watching it), although I'll be damned if I'll look away from the Rockets to watch some network drama.

Let me first say that this show has won me over this year...I didn't watch much last year, but this year I haven't been able to look away.

The torture scene was definitly pushing the limits of what I've seen on network TV, but they've had a few of them this year (The guy killing himself on the first episode...Nina slitting the guys throat last week).

Its almost like watching a real movie every week...one that you're anticipating as much as the next LOTR sequel, Matrix, or Star Wars.....except that there is freakin 24 of them.

All of the episodes have been great, and they're only getting better. I think the best thing about the show is that nothing is obvious...you suspect everyone, and can't figure anything out on your own.

This is also the only show/movie that I refuse to read spoilers for, and I read plenty of them.... its that freakin good.

I think that they torture the guy with a small handheld circular saw.

And they were pouring acid on his back. It was pretty brutal.

You'd think that Nina would mellow just just a tad since Jack freaking kickstarted her heart after the crash....but nah, she's just evil. Awesome.

This season is better than last season. From the get-go its been tense.

I love how Kim is getting a smaller role each week. Thats the biggest throw away character in television.

The only reason for her existence is those gratuitous "Baywatch" style running scenes.

I seriously didn't think this show could get better than last year. I'm so glad to be wrong. The writers are the best ever.

Somebody told me that there's going to be a new character in the next week or two that's going to give Kim some competition for babe on the show. Second hand info, take if for what it's worth.

Did anyone talk about it getting better each and every episode?

I think with this last one they just ended it, there is no way it can get better. The fact that we have to wait until February 4th is a b****.

I hated/hate/still hate Sherri Palmer...ugh. This Warner crap is getting more and more interesting.

    This is BS.

We just got through a Christmas break of the show, now we have to wait another 3 weeks?

But the ending was greatness. As I'm sure many of you did, I saw the final scene coming from the first few episodes. I knew Marie would end up being the one involved, not the dad or Reza.

But Sherry is in damn deep! I've hated that biotch since she showed her sneaky ways last season. But geez, she's working on a project that has the head of the NSA wrapped around her damn finger! How the hell did she pull this off!

I can't wait... I hate FOX for making me have to!

didn't get to see the last 3 episodes (damn work). i read the synopsis of the last two on fox's web site, but they haven't released the latest one. anyone willing to give a summary of today's episode?

(p.s. did they stop airing reruns on FX this season?)

I didn't read one post, just wanted to say I have this week and last week's on tape and I am about to go watch them after "The Shield" - which is another BADA$$ show! :)

    24 is awesome.

The President set a SWAT team after Nina. Jack lured her into the open where they nicked her and pounced upon her.

Saeed Ali left the house where they were hiding the sister. He left orders for his cohort to kill her. Just in the nick of time, Jack and his buddies showed up to save her but were unable to keep the bad guy from biting his cyanide capsule. We don't know whether he will live or die yet.

In another note, the sister who was to get married appears to be the sinister one. She shot her husband-to-be in the heart. I'm sorry that I can't flesh it out for you better; I had been pulled away to the phone and just got back in time to see the execution.

Oh yeah, they determined that it was a US para-military outfit that had shot Jack's plane down. The NSA chief is the prime suspect to be the inside source since the particular outfit is supposedly funded by the NSA.

Damn, I must be dense...I didn't see the little sister blowing them away like that coming! then again, I've missed the last 3 episodes, so maybe I missed something important.

I did know that Sherry would be the uber-b**** again the second I saw her...

This is the greatest show to ever be shown on network TV, hands down. I hope they get the DVD out as quick as they did last time, I want to see it back to back all the way thru.

and, I don't mind Kim being on there, I'll gladly watch her run anyday..but thats just me...

damn Fox, make me wait...but what do you expect from the network that cancelled Family Guy and Firefly...bastards!!
