Could this be a good fit for him, and i mean(despite the undersize reasons) he might be a shooting guard, but what happens if he play some mins at the 3..??? , because of this wing span. Lin,Martin,Lamb,Patterson,Asik
I think he is too light. Even when he gains weight, he will always be that way. I think his ability to utilize his length on both sides of the ball AGAINST a shooting guard is the idea scenario. We need to decide what to do with Terrence Jones. I love Parsons, but I see Jones as the three of the future.
Jeremy Lamb is not only too light and not strong enough to play SF but he's only 6'5. Despite his wingspan being long it does not mean he can play SF. An average height of the NBA typical SF is around 6'8 to 6'9. Lamb is simply not big nor strong enough to play the SF.
even lin can play 35 min nxt season, we still have 13 min to fill up the 1. my best expectation is lamb can bring the basket to the front court, and play some corner offence with white.
Parsons is the only legit SF on the roster .... the rest are either tweeners or PF's. I could see Martin and Lamb on the court at the same time at SG/SF when Parsons is on the bench ....
Courtney Lee played a ton of small forward last year and in previous years in small ball lineups, and he doesn't have nearly the reach Lamb does. We will definitely see Lamb play some 3 in upcoming years. It is important to note though that even the scrawny Courtney Lee weighed about 20 pounds more than Lamb.
No way Lamb is a small forward. I'd put him solidly in the SG spot. Good effortless shooter with plenty of upside, decent size at that spot. Besides, both Parsons and Jones are 4-5 inches taller and make a much better fit for the 3.
