You're the Grizzlies? I'm going to start poking around and trying to piece together trades when I get home from work. I may be willing to part with him, but I'll have to see.
He had 3 people all ready who were on the level of any of those draft classes, and he traded them for unproven players, and you wanna say im making a dumb comment. Yea trade a team that went to the finals for a gamble, how much better can you get then making the finals, Is a team of lilliard, barnes or mgk, durant, davis, okafor going to be better. Seriously he had a team that went to the finals and blew them up for 3 of the top 5 draft picks, and you think thats a good idea, wow. You probably think that the rockets should keep getting the 14th pick too, because eventually thats gonna work out for us right
It's a game and he wanted to rebuild. Who are you to say that those top 5 picks won't become stars. If you ask me, that is the best rebuilding team you are gonna get. In the end, it's not even about making a good team or choosing a direction. It's about getting a team that will get good stats, which takes away from the overall experience. Gming should be about picking a direction and building your team that way. He picked rebuilding and will have a great young team. I don't see what's wrong with it. YES, your comment was very dumb. You said, what 5th pick will avg 20 a game. I gave you legit names.
Your a idiot, you think its a good idea to rebuild a team that went to the finals, IDIOT. I cant have a legitiment argument with someone who can rationalize rebuilding a team that went to finals. You win man, I give up, if your think thats a good idea then your way beyond sane and I cant pull you back.
I want you to tell me where I wrote that it is a good idea to rebuild with the thunder. I said HE wants to rebuild and he will have a great rebuilding team with the picks he has. This whole thing is a game. I don't see why you don't understand that. He chose to go the rebuilding route because he thought it would be more fun to build around draft picks and younger guys. If he wants to rebuild, let him rebuild.I don't see what your problem is with it. He isn't going to the finals in this league anyways because it is based on fantasy stats, not teamwork or chemistry or talent. WHY DON'T YOU ADDRESS YOUR PREVIOUS COMMENT ABOUT THE #5 PICK? I gave you plenty of people in past drafts who can and have averaged 20. How can you even say that none of these guys will average 20 in their career. You call me an idiot but you make baseless claims and when proven wrong you resort to calling others idiots. Also, tell me why OKC offered harden for beal. Presti is a big idiot right? Where is Jamers? I need Jamers here now
Ibaka, westbrook, harden... Vs 1,3,5 (OKAFOR) Eventhough they have ton of potential, i still prefer proven guys.. I really think beal will go 2nd.. You stupid for trading taht pick. FU 3,5 for harden, 10 seems bad but it's not. We dont know whats gonna happen or how will the rookies pan out. Great chance that they will be a good in the future. But they're no westbrook harden level yet.. He may get there, he may not. I think it's a foolish move especially they're all pulling incredible stats. I got your point about rebuilding... But i'd rather have proven guys.. That guy like risks, i like that guy. He's a moron. He could've got more in return than just picks..
''How many people at 5 do think will average 20pts per game there rookie year hell better yet there career'' Never said no one at 5 averages 20, glad you gave a list of people did thats great, not my point he gave up proven players for the chance they pan out. Here is your list of players taken in the top 5 from last year tell me which 3 you want more then westbrook harden ibaka. kyrie, derrick williams, enes kanter, tristan thomspon, jonas If you offered me all 5 of those for westbrook, harden, ibaka. I would say no, just like 90% of most intelligent NBA fans would
I think you missed my post where I said: "the only thing he messed up on was trading westbrook" Last draft was known as a weaker draft so don't give me that as a choice either. Id take davis and beal and robinson over an upcoming max harden and ibaka. Keeping the 2 would just postpone the inevitable by a year. This doesn't matter though since he traded westbrook, which was a dumb move, rebuilding or not. Id rather have the proven guys, too but I realize that midway/late in the season, I would have to get rid of harden/ibaka because they would make too much in the offseason.if it was me making the decision, id try to swing harden for a young big man like pekovic (if we were making real teams) and then re sign ibaka in the offseason to have a contending team. He chose the rebuilding route and will have a great rebuilding team. Let's let the results speak for themselves. I think if this goes on, by year 3, he will have the best team.
I don't know the categories of the matchups but if fg% is one of em, id stay awayyy. You don't want that salary either. Just my .02. Of couse, I wouldn't trade for kobe no matter what so take that with a grain of salt.
let's put it this way and end this argument. It was a foolish trade rebuilding/contending, He could've made better trades and get more than what he got maybe something like Cousins, Peko and some picks Westbrook is worth more than 3 first rounders, IMO..
I'm not interested in him lol.. it will completely destroy my plans. But he just want Rashard Lewis contract.. but $30M in just 1 player is a big no
