    From ESPN:

PHILADELPHIA -- The Chicago Bulls were ready to part with the last
piece of their dynasty Wednesday with a trade that would send Toni Kukoc
to the Philadelphia 76ers in a three-way deal involving the Golden State
    Warriors, The Associated Press learned.

The other key players in the deal, expected to be completed
Wednesday afternoon, are Larry Hughes and Billy Owens,
who go to the Warriors, a league source told the AP on
    condition of anonymity.

Golden State sends a No. 1 draft pick and guard John Starks
    to Chicago.

I can't believe Chicago got that much for him. Unbelievable! The guy's 32 years old and shoots 38% from the field! I still hate the Bulls.

It must be hard for Starks to put on a Bulls jersey, and even harder for the Bulls fans to see him in it.

I'm not ready to elevate Krause into the elite GM category, but he's clearly not the dope that Jordan and Jackson made him out to be. Brand and Artest are turning out to be good picks and the #1 from GS is a real coup. Nice job, Crumbs.

Grummett, I'm glad to see you coming around to my way of thinking. [IMG] Here in Chicago, Krause is universally reviled becuase of the job Jordan has done on him, but he knows what he's doing (except maybe the effort to get Duncan or Hill -- that's risky!).

JV-- I live 3 hours due west of you on the Iowa side of the river so I've seen what you have in regards to the treatment of Krause, especially by guys like Bayless and Mariotti. I thought Brand was a terrible #1 for them, but, as I posted before, the guy has done very well for the Bulls. Artest is a tremendous defensive player also. He'll never get big name free agents to Chicago, imo, but he'll probably have his pick of the draft class again this year and he'll do okay again. Also, I tend to sympathize with guys the press hates as much as Krause. [IMG]

Hughes will help GS with Jamison out for a week . Kukoc will learn that he will not be able to do hardly anything for the
Phildelphia Alleniversons . Starks to the Bulls baffles me His dunk against the Bulls made him famous . Now Spike Lee will have a ball during the Knicks Bulls game
