Anna Kournikova wears a patch on her back during her match against Henrieta Nagyova at the Australian Open January 13, 2003. Kournikova has settled one of the ongoing debates at this year's Australian Open -- the fabled tattoo on her back does not exist. Speculation has been rife that the patch covered a tattoo. Perhaps that is why Anna is not a top tennis player. Someone needs to tell her she needs to reduce her ailments.
She lacks the power game that the Williams, and Lindsay Davernport have. That's why you never see Martina Hingis win it anymore because she is too much of a finese player. Finese went out the window in women's tennis.
They should just change the rules and let her win. Anna deserves to win just because she's hotter. Anna or Lindsay Davenport? Ugh..... If I were the ump, I'd call 60 straight foot faults so the hottie can win.
Apparently, the patch was purchased by Kournikova on one of those late night TV infomercials. The "Ultra Tennis Patch 3000" is supposed to improve all aspects of your swing and make you a better tennis player. Safe to say, she is getting her money back...
