NY media trying to create problems... "Jeremy Lin doesn't impress Iona's Scott Machado, now playing for Houston Rockets summer league team." http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/jeremy-lin-impress-iona-scott-machado-playing-houston-rockets-summer-league-team-article-1.1124290
Same quotes different agenda. Just goes to show you how the media can use selective information to drive a stance. http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/high...B9qS0cJ?utm_medium=rss&utm_content=Basketball
There's nothing that Machado said that wasn't mild and unexceptional. Pretty stock type of answers. The NYDN has had their hate on for Lin for a while. No clue why.
Yes get used to it Houston. We're squarely in the NY media's crosshairs for the foreseeable future. Linsanity was the best thing to happen to Knick basketball in a long time. He put that team on his back. I like Machado's confidence. I agree that he could be a good nba PG one day. Hope he makes the team. Agreed that there's nothing he said that was inappropriate. He's a competitor. I'm looking forward to seeing what both Lin and Machado can do this year. I see Douglas as more of an off guard, so if Machado can beat out Livingston, he should have a chance to get on the court occasionally in relief of Lin.
Well , if those are real quotes from Scott Machado, then you can tell this guy has the same concept about BB like John Walls: I'm a Good athlete , I want to show my skills , but can't play team ball, and none on the team likes him.
