Misleading thread title. He didn't say it was his second choice. He just said that he would consider signing there. That doesn't mean that its the only place he would consider signing or it's even the frontrunner after OKC.
you are right, i apologize. if a mod can change the thread title to say that harden would consider phoenix, then that would be great.
but would you be willing to go after him even though we have lamb at the shooting guard position? i know harden is a proven player, and lamb may very well become an average player, but i don' think its worth giving harden the max to play for a position that we don't really have a huge need at.
Knowing the rox they would prob offer him that. Morey is desperate to try anything. All we do is get medicore players for the positions we need and hype the crap out of them.
That's fine. It's not like I'd be heartbroken if he didn't come here. I doubt he's really giving it much thought where he wants to be at this point, considering OKC is geared to make another Championship run.
He seems to have lost some of his confidence during the playoffs. During the regular season, he was consistently unstoppable. Maybe that's just the difference in defensive intensity, but it seemed like he was missing shots he normally made. Not saying he's Luther Head; I'd love to have him on our roster.
Harden is overrated. His game is basically cross left, cross right, cross back left, jack up a three/mid-range jumper. He's shown he can make those tough shots, but what else has he shown?
