Since the rockets want to go young, and If they r sticking with the draft picks they already own, why not give them k-mart for Wes Johnson n their first? ALL YOUR POWER FORWARDS BELONG TO US! Spoiler Derrick Williams and Ridnour would work in theory. Not a fan of Derrick Williams, but as a trade piece he's probably more valuable than Martin.

You would have to assume that if they are waiting until after the Olympics in case of an injury, that a player on the Olympic squad would be involved in the potential trade. And looking at who is on the roster, Iguodala is the only one who appears likely to be traded. Seeing as there was a rumor of a three way trade of Batum/Williams/Iguodala, I would say an Iguodala for Williams trade is probably what this is about.
Trading Kmart for a young guy like Dwill or picks is not easy. Rockets would have to match salaries plus they would want to not lose the flexibility for free agency next summer. So rockets would have to find a team that first of all wants Martin, is willing to trade a young guy like Derrick Williams and has a garbage player on a big contract that is expiring.
