he should've been an All Star last year already, instead of Hibbert. Although I suppose the same can be said about Tyson Chandler.
Unfortunately, coaches feel obliged to reward "good deep" teams with All Star spots, even when no individual player really deserves it.

You could make an argument that he would start over a couple of the ones that were not bold also.

I agree approximately with your assessment - top 5 or 6 to me. But please Donatas, stay calm. This is not a contest with other posters. Nothing is personal. People have a wide variety of opinions, and many have valid reasons for their opinion. But it takes serious understanding and knowledge to change someones opinion. BimaThug like knowledge and understanding. Neither of us are anywhere near that.

Sorry if I have been a bore.

i dont see a problem with the list, and we got lucky that the people who made the list, doesnt know that we will probably trade K-Mart too

i think it honestly could have been worse

? i'm completely calm. As i always am.
i'm simply disagreeing and presenting my arguments.

I don't know/ or don't remember who's Bimathug, so i can't argue there, but your comment is odd.

So the Rockets were 17th last year, and have lost 7 of their top 10 rotation players in terms of minutes, and that's counting Patterson as one of the 10. Martin and Parsons are the other 2, and Martin absolutely hates it here. How is it a joke that they would be 28th? If Jeremy Lin is your best player, you've got issues.

Who cares? If we can't land Dwight it would be GREAT to be the 28th team in the league to get a top 3 pick.

Man, it sucks that the rockets suck. The culture around here is so different than other teams' forums. Other teams are cocky and always think their team has a chance at a championship...but here? It's the opposite.

Why the hell don't players want to come here? Didn't Forbes say that we're the 4th most prosperous market? Also, Houston isn't a small market team. I just don't get it.

When are we going to start expecting a winning culture?! Sorry, i'm pissed, FU Dwight for not wanting to come here.

We have agreed to disagree. I see the Rockets as having plenty of talent to compete regardless if they are young. Donatas sees them as being too young and experienced to compete.

the question was about quality, not trade value. Rockets fans! Always thinking in terms of assets! :p

re the question, I do think Parsons starts over at least a few of those.
    Ariza. Ron Artest maybe.

Marvin Williams was actually pretty good last year. Not worth his 8 mil salary, which is why they traded him, but if he was paid 4 mil, he'd be considered good.
I think he starts over Parsons more likely than not.

BUT the list seems very inaccurate.
Josh Smith plays power forward (at least for now).
Caron Butler / Grant Hill are on the same team (so they won't take two starting SF jobs).
Rashard Lewis is on the Heat. Obviously he's not going to start at SF.
Corey Maggette and Tayshaun Prince are on the same team.
Dunleavy is probably not the starter in Milwaukee. Carlos Delfino was the starter last year, this year it should be Mbah a Moute (unless they add someone). Dunleavy sucks, especially when you already have a high scoring back court who lack D.

To add to the list, however:
-Kirilenko is now basically in Sota. He'd start over Parsons.
-MKG/Barnes in Charlotte and GSW. I don't know if they are necessarily better than Parsons during their rookie years, but it seems more likely that they'd still start one way or another (over him or next to him).

So basically, I think Parsons starts on:
    the Hawks
    the Rockets
    the Cavs (probably, over Casspi)
    the Hornets
    the Kings (over Salmons)
    the Wizards (over Ariza)

    maybe:
the Lakers (maybe, over Ron Ron)
the Bucks (over Mbah a Moute, though I'd bet on Moute)
the Magic (over Turkoglu; probably not if Dwight is there; probably yes otherwise)
the Raptors (over Terence Ross/Kleiza; Dwayne Casey prefers a defensive player at 3)
    the Jazz (over Marvin Williams)

6 great shots, 5 'maybies' in my view.

Your dilusional if you believe the Rockets as constructed are even close to a playoff contender this year or next.

Really? People here think the Rockets won't be one of the worst? That's what they would be trying to do! It's all part of Morey's master plan. If Dwight doesn't come, go into this season with what we have, probably win no more than 28 games, and have two lottery picks hopefully for next season and go after a max player or two to add.

The crutch with that plan, however, is next year's draft is looking miserably weak, and we're looking at second-tier stars to add, like an Al Jefferson or Josh Smith, not a franchise guy that Morey wants.

This forum was also cocky when the 22 winning streak happened. Since then, things changed.
