I'll take that bet. Amare is NOT in our future plans. As a previously poster mentioned, he does not put us over the top + have the upside to be a championship contender (see: NY Knicks).

Morey will either grow with the young guys and/or bring in a superstar or superstar-potential young guy not one on the decline with a rash of injuries in their history.

We probably WILL use the cap space but for a different player or bust

Knicks fans can't wait for Amare to be shipped out of New York. That's all you need to know about Amare. He probably leads the league in getting shots blocked right now. He's not the same manchild athletic beast he used to be. He's more of a jump shooter now at the PF position. Even Woodson wants him to come up with a way to score down low on post ups so he's paying Olajuwon 50K/week to learn the Dream Shake.

The only reason that i could think of signing Stoudemireto add a mentor... But I just can't imagine what I'm going to say when Pat2 or Jone makes a Stoudemire's like jump/hook shot

I really hope we sign Dwight so that these crappy threads get pushed off to page 2.

one you are suggesting a trade and saying it is not a random trade genre?? secondly at what point did the rockets agree to trade our entire team away for dwight ... something tells me if we agreed to do that then he would be here already .. most reports have rockets offering one young player from last year/ one rookie from this year picks and martin

lastly i am not sure how much more of an upside amare would be over someone like DMO, I would really like to see what he and jones can do at the 4 before going on this ridiculous amare chase...at what point in his career has amare been a winner?

I have the same question, brah. Just like you, I came here to converse. But some folks are more interested in insulting me than talking about the Rockets.

Dude! You are better than this. Try to maintain some perspective. I personally cannot think of a more inappropriate player for the Rockets right now than Stodamire.

This is what is good about conversation. Not everyone will agree on what's being discussed.

I don't see why you all need to be so close-minded about EVERYTHING you don't agree with.
