    Glad someone said it.

Just because you think you are perfect doesn't make you a perfectionist. It does make you an A hole though.

Damn, I'm almost certain I just got suckered into the Equiso. That is a great deal and even better product. I'm probably going to get a Pear too... I primarily want to use it in the car so I wonder if it will work if I plug it into my 30 pin in-line cable. If not, I've got a dock I could use it with so it won't be a total waste.

I get what you're saying, but when you plug an Android phone or tablet into an HDMI port, it auto-rotates portrait apps to fit the landscape screen (see demo in video below)

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/3GdlAbgWoUQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

So that will be a non-issue. Think of this as an HTPC/Media Server on a stick with the added bonus of the Google Play store, Android dev support, etc. Plus, if you already own an Android device, you don't have to buy a whole bunch of new apps. All for $69. Pretty darn good deal, if you ask me.

Now that IS a good question. I'll post it on the forum. The company is usually quick to reply.

For something like this do you think a 512 mb more ram is worth 30 more dollars? I was tempted.

I thought it was especially for the additional add-ons if they meet the specific pledges. At minimum it's 1GB of memory.

I'd rather keep the ChargeCard in my wallet than a coiled up wire. With USB ports popping up all over the place, you would have charging options almost anywhere you go. Seems pretty handy to me.

I guess. I like my wallet slim. This would be almost as bad as the George Costanza wallet.

Well, the Equiso came in today for me. So far it works as advertised but a little slower than I was hoping for. Also a little buggy on some things but that's to be expected. It's still in a beta phase. Hopefully new software will make it faster but I doubt it. I installed and played Jetpack Joyride. It's playable but slightly jerky. Angry Birds was a lot better but then again there's not a lot of movement.
Video looks good. Everything is high rez. The hardware itself seems well made. The remote control is cool. Flip it over one side and you have something that can control the onscreen pointer. Flip it over the other side and you have a full QWERTY keyboard. It works well.

Back when I still had cable/On-Demand and in the one apartment this thing worked, Slingbox was freaking amazing. Between that and O&A/RonFez on the XM home kit, literally no reason to leave bed on the weekend.
