    NYK,
He's just a kid. Were those comments really necessary for someone that does not even look like a teenager?

Let the kid be a Mavericks fan if he wants. I'm sure he is just following Mark Cuban's lead by bashing Yao Ming. But who cares anyway he's just a kid.

If he's going to take a spot in part of the industry I'm going to be in, yes, he deserves everything he gets for being a fool.

He might be able to take off from the free throw line with those ears.

    I didn't see it posted.

The kid doesn't have to like Yao, but I have a problem when his opinions are based on garbage. I don't care if he's a kid, he needs to take responsibility for his work especially if he's writing for an official NBA team website. He can't back up any of his claims and some statements are flat out wrong. He should just leave Yao alone and cover his Mavs through League Pass.

Hey guys, this is Ben Collins from the Mavs that you've been making fun of the past few days.

First off, let's get this out of the way. That picture was taken two years ago, but nonetheless, it's extremely immature of you to make fun of someone's opinions because of how they look. Half of you on this message board I bet don't leave the house and haven't seen sunlight in three years, so you shouldn't be talking. Most of you are probably younger than me because I'm fifteen, so you should not be making fun of me because of my age because you're just contradicting yourself. I hope you sleep well tonight knowing that you did your world the injustice of randomly beating up on a 15-year-old, but that doesn't even harm me because I got many more good responses than bad.

I got this job because worked my ass off to ear it, quite frankly, so you should not be stupid and jealous and question my credentials or my ability.

By the way, I put Caron Butler in there twice for emphasis, but it was supposed to be Caron Butler... and Caron Butler, but it got edited out because italics didn't stick in the e-mail that I sent to the webmaster of the site.

I have watched six Rockets games this season in their entirety through League Pass, the last one being a week and a half ago.

Like I said before, though, in my column, if Yao gets 25 points or more against the Lakers, I'm writing an apology column to Yao.

Yes, Yao leads in paper ballots, but LA fans don't seem to care about the
game itself and they go to the game to hangout and eat nachos. Rockets fans
    are actually devoted.

Now, I don't hate all Rockets, as I've stated to some of you before. Rockets have a great nucleus in
Mobley and Francis and in a year or two Posey will look like on of the best
on that team. Francis is a playmaker and Mobley can play some great ball, so
you guys have a shot a ring every year, as long as you stick to what's good
on your team in your awesome backcourt.

I figured I'd and just tell you guys what you did is a lot like an 8 year old would do. I hope you sleep well tonight knowing that you did your world the injustice of randomly beating up on a 15-year-old, but that doesn't even harm me because I got many more good responses than bad.

I figured I wouldn't stoop to your level and take potshots, so go ahead make fun of me some more, I'm not a bad person like some of you undoubtedly are.

    Thanks,
    Ben.

If most of us are younger than him, why is it an "injustice" to beat him up? So he's afraid of 12 year olds?

And that's quite a ear you have....

Yes, us devoted Rockets fans that are 3rd to last in attendence

I think that last statement was a potshot.
    Clang, another contradiction.

I know he's just a kid, but I was more logical than him at 15. :)

Glad you didn't take potshots...

I obviously don't have access to the correspondence you've received, but that's the way the cookie crumbles if you post your opinions on the internet, and give people a method of contacting you directly.

For what it's worth, I think the fact that your ill-thought-out article is featured on the NBA's official website is the cause of most people's irritation.

There have been many doubters of Yao in the media, the majority of whom have since declared that they were not right in their initial assessment.

I hope Yao does well against Shaq, but I don't feel he has anything to prove. I mean look at his performance against the best big man tandem in the league (Tim Duncan and David Robinson).

Btw, with the scoring 24 pts against Shaq, if any C in the league right now (other than TD, cuz he's a PF forced to play C) scores 24 on Shaq I say vote him for MVP.

Well, Amare Stoudemire, Caron Butler, Dajuan Wagner, and Caron Butler are all playing better than him, have better numbers than him, are more valuable to their team, and have better potential to be more dominant in this league. Manu Ginobili, if he weren¡¦t injury plagued, would be on that list, too.

Are there 2 Caron Butler(s)? LOL

Yes, but of course he's seen 6 games and realized that while Yao sucks, James Posey will lead us to the promised land.

Yes, and that shows how much he knows about the game of basketball. Just because you can dribble and do fancy crossovers doesn't make you a playmaker.

BTW, I'd check IPs on it, seems all too coincidental that he would find this site the same exact date he was bashed on it.
