With the Rockets falling behind so often in games early, it sheds light on the Rockets lack of a big time sparkplug off the bench. I was hoping Mo T would be able to fill that roll, but he's only showed flashes of that. Moochie's ok but but he seems to have lapse in judgement at times. I'm not looking for a trade or picking anyone up, I just think that someone on the roster should step up into that role. Maybe if Posey started and Rice came of the bench with his expertise and thousands of points, or what if Boki had minutes to be able to show something, we'd maybe be better off. The Rockets lack that Sam Cassell type, jolt of energy off the bench.

    G-Moochie (Tito Maddox)
    G-C. Mobley

Problem is, Mobley is playing wery well lately. His assists are looking much improved, his scoring % has improved, and his defense is better than ever.

If Posey has a few more good games, we can replace Rice, and then give Rice the type of shots he's asking for against other teams' second units, and maybe he'll actually make them.

It's a known fact, 6th men have to be trigger-happy, and Rice is just that.

    What Mobley are you watching.

He's had his stretches of very good play.

But hes still the same old Mobley

BTW. He is shooting near 41 percent for the year. Down from his career average. His 3pt % is about to plummet into the 20's. He is reaaaaaaal close which is .60 percent worse than his career average.

His assists are up less than half an assist per game.

It's very disturbing to see his 3 point percentage going down.
Dreamshake, what do you think is the reason for that?

thing is, Mobley was one hell of a 6th man a few years back. I dont see any reason not to use him in that way now.

We have starters who can score, why not let Posey or Hawk start at the 2 for their defense... and bring Mobes in to ignite the second unit..
he would be a better option than anyone else we have, and he would still get big minutes unless we need the D against the other team's big scorer(at the 2 or 3)...
