Only read the first and last page, but I felt Felton's comments were pretty damn benign. And I read:

As him meaning, "I'm not going to get into the discussion over whether he was making too much money, because you have to do what you have to do."

If there's a clip of the exchange that puts it in better context and proves me wrong, I'd obviously like to see it.

    Delusionl at its finest.

Lin was also a proven winner in college.

Yeah, Felton DEFINITELY meant, "I'm not gonna be one of those who says "He's making too much money".....if he can get the money, good for him." He meant absolutely no ill-will towards Lin in that regard. However, no matter what, he is NOT better than Lin. That's just ludicrous.

If you think 18.2 ppg and 7.68 assists is mediocre for an NBA starter, you should stick to the "pompous" sleazeball routine and leave NBA basketball alone. I haven't seen any Lin fans go overboard on here as much as the haters do.

The kid has a good game and great potential in all honesty, there's no need for haters or even casual fans (esp. Knicks fans) to bash his game. He proved himself worthy, now he gets a shot.

Now, slither back to your slimy hole.

If Raymond Felton was a stud, he wouldn't be jumping from team to team.

Plus they were in the playoff without carmello and chandler. I dont see why any poster is even debating this.

He signed a 3 yr 27m deal that just expired. When he signed it with ny, it was a good signing and kept the knicks in the cp3/melo sweepstakes. He avg 19-9 and had the knicks in the playoffs minus carmello and chandler. Mid season, he was traded to denver and had to share with lawson. He played well there too. He was traded the next season to portland. Mcmillan and his walk it up mentality didnt fit, felton struggled and now he's back with ny. If felton is allowed to push the ball and run pinr, he's a very good pg as evidence by what he did in ny uder dantoni. If you call ever play from the sideline and walk it up all the time, he's avg or below. Just because one gm fell in love with lin, doesnt mean he's better.

His crappy attitude will fit in quite nicely in NY with all the other delusional people there.

Oh, an athlete that thinks he's the best at his position?

Step 1: Go to Houston Rockets fansite.
Step 2: Say the Rockets' two championships are tainted.
Step 3: Say that no Asian has ever done anything relevant in the NBA.

And the 1975 Golden State Warriors' title is tainted because Wilt retired the year before.
And the 1992 Chicago Bulls' title is tainted because Magic retired.
And the 1993 Chicago Bulls' title is tainted because Bird retired.
And the 1970 New Your Knicks' title is tainted because Russell retired.

And also, Yao Ming never existed to spread the business of basketball onto even more of a global scale.

And skin color and nationality are apparently still relevant. So much for Dr. King's dream.

    Why isn't Sigmund banned again?

boy, the kooks are coming out of the woodwork and revealing their Lin-envy.

Lin and his true-blue basketball fans must be thankful he landed in HOU where fans are relatively sane and civil.

I doubt the Knicks will smell conference finals air. Lin is a good pickup and if he goes crazy that's all the better. I am impressed with his penetration and slashing turn style. We needed a point guard , thank god it wasn't Felton. This is a team that can and will grow together, that's what the Rockets need right now.

    No more recycles please.
