He should've been dealt the season after Yao limped off the court. He REALLY should've been dealt when we fired Adelman.

I just want him to be put on a team with a solid Center. I really think if he had the opportunity to play with Yao he would have been a 2x all star by now.

Feel for the guy, I think he's extremely underrated here.

I don't mind keeping Martin tbh. He is still an above average starting shooting guard in this league that can score with the best of them. If we let him play and he plays well he would be worth quite a bit at the trade deadline to a team that needed a 2.

I hope he plays extremely well wherever he is. If he's on the Rockets, great. If not, good luck to him.

I don't dislike the guy. I think he's a good scorer that can significantly help any team. I just wish he'd take that same scoring mentality that he has during the 1st three quarters, and apply it during the 4th quarter as well.

i still dont understand why you guys hate on him so much. since when did you care soooo much about defense that you start catching feelings about a guy. cmon now.

he can hoop. period. hes an ABOVE average NBA player, and hes GOOD. and you know it, stop disrespecting and treating him like hes some scrub. ******* clutchfans i swear, you do this with EVERY player that doesnt play for a while, you not only forget them or how u liked watching them play, you start putting them down... i dont get it... stop being a tryhard fan, just appreciate a little for once instead of always over analyzing.

I think he might have farted but people thought that he was laughing at the score.

still a little immature about laughing about a fart, but how many of us pass ass gas and can not help but laugh?

Martin with Howard could work...but the issue is that the Rockets will have to either include lamb or Dmo along with Martin for Howard and one of their bad contracts...

Because he saved his body by avoiding defense.

I wish him luck, have no hate for him like a lot do,however he's not the one I wan't setting an example for the young guy's.

do you really think we would get picks for martin? maybe a 2nd rounder, but we're not getting anything of quality.

However, I bet Morey would trade him whenever there's a good chance just to clear the path for Lamb. Sad but that's what happened to Skip and Brooks.

I think the bigger reason for martins decline was the rule changes implemented by the nba. Martin has made a living out of drawing contacts and getting to the line, he attempted nearly half as many free throws last year as the year before, while only attempting a couple of less shots per game

so what? he's still very efficient. VERY. even if he let's the other SG score, he can score back 5x easy. unless that player is super efficient as well. people underrate Martin cause he's not a flashy player. a little like scola without the ice cream moved. but at the end of the night, he gives 16-30 points. plus lamb will really learn how to be a good off the ball guy and learn cuts cause Martin designed his game from Reggie Miller and Rip Hamilton, SO DID JEREMY LAMB. they have the same game plan. except lamb has potential to be a better defender.

lamb is Kmart with defense and more athletic.
