    Though you might find this interesting. Spoke to Doc Rocket this morning and he had this to say:

    "There have been no talks with Golden State at all. As of now, no GS talks have been going on."

    This has nothing to do with the Bob Rainey gag by heypartner... just talks for Jamison in general.

    The title of this thread sounds like a sequel to "Who is Hotter: Jeff Timmons or Marat Safin?".

    "The only problem is I always think of the guitar player from Dokken when I hear his name." -Traj, on the possibility of George Lynch joining the Rockets.

    SO who did it then? Stand up and take a bow, it was funny, and it livened things up a bit.

    I think Pops came back later after talking to a couple of other people and said that there WERE talks, but that they weren't current discussions.

    ouch, poor Swopa.

    I think it's safe to say everything will be back to normal when Drew is traded, right? No more Jamison dreamcasting.(or will that only happen when we say bye to KT and Walt [IMG])

    Clutch;
    Thank you for your honesty, nothing less is expected from you.
    Evevthough I don't have large nummber of posts an this bbs,I have been around here almost from the begining, and enjoy all your work.
    I have been around basketball almost all my life, and be the first one to tell(in pro's)big part of fun is the offseason rumors.
    They are called rumors cuz they don't always happen.
    I don't mean to say the abvious, but some take everything in sports TOO serious.
    It is just for fun,to get away from daily stress.
    GO ROCKETS!!!!!!

    Looking into my crystal ball, I see a rash of BBSers faking their ISPs and fu*king with everyones heads with these "rumors," backed up by quotes from that devil of a website, www.realgm.com.

    The end result is the rumors lead to war and mass lynchings of rumor reporters. Clutch and Pops are the among first casualties when their rumors, which actually have some substance, are perceived as false and start riots across the basketball world.

    CC.net is renamed "BobRainy.net," and chaos and bitterness reign supreme. Our only shadow of hope is the rumor that Wilt Chamberlain is not really dead, but undergoing DNA reconstruction so that he can play for the Rockets with the body of a 20 year old man.
