Lol thats BS, theres no way he would ask for a trade. The roster is no where near finished, he can end up being the first of the bench getting 20 mins if a big dwight deal goes down. If this trade goes down i fully expect him to play for us unless he gets waived. Or WE trade him, but i don't see that happening because we just traded for him. Like can douglas, forbes and johnson be traded before the season starts? It just strikes me as unrealistic that any of our newly attained players would be flipped in a trade. Being waived is a different story though.
This dude looks a WHOLE lot like Jordan Hill to me. Athletic, very skinny, and very awkward footwork. Needs work. Potential. They (at first I typed we but then realized it ain't my money) need to put dream on the payroll as a big man coach. Especially for all our 6'9" guys. He could work the out 8 at a time.
He also reminds me a lot of JHill from that mix, thing is he probably doesn't have the D or rebounding J.Hill has. Actually read he's not too good of a rebounder.
sure, why not. in theory, a player can be traded 29 times during the season (until he runs out of teams to visit). And you can do those 29 trades in one day, if you want to. what's the point to waive a guaranteed contract. i imagine there'll be some trades to make sure there's enough roster spots. But I don't see Morey just waiving assets on guaranteed contracts.
Steve Bulpett @SteveBHoop JaJuan shouldn't think he'll be able to get out of Houston easily. Word is Rockets like him and will keep him.
I think that was his point. Then they are all projects who will never be anything more than a B player in the league. The Rockets will be in the middle of the pack for YEARS if they do not fix this ASAP. Jeremy Lin's deal reminds me of Cato and Maloney's deals. Players getting paid for showing they can play in a pre season game or for half a season
Gary Washburn: Don't expect JaJuan Johnson to play a game for the #rockets, according to a source he will request a trade Twitter Bad news
What is he complaining about trying to demand a trade, he is a scrub I say send him down to the vipers.
Do y'all not get it. The Houston Rockets are monopilizing the power foward industry. since we have all of the fowards in the league, we can make teams overpay for them. genius, hopefully we can slip this monopoly past the government.
HOU gets Nic Batum POR gets Marcus Morris Kevin Martin Patrick Patterson 2013 2nd (just acquired from BOS) There you go. Terrence Jones and JaJuan Johnson are our 2 PFs going into the season. It might be star-caliber, but it's definitely something to build upon at the position.
