I am worried that the West conference is so tough that we are not going to make the playoffs. 19-15 is not so bad. But we are only 9-11 within conference, 3-4 within division, 6-10 on the road. Compared to our closed challengers Utah (12-5 conf, 7-1 div, 9-10 road), Minnesota (11-7 conf, 5-4 div, 7-11 road) and Seattle (8-10 conf, 4-4 div, 10-10 road), we are doomed!

We owe our first rounder, or one within two spots of our own, to Memphis as part of the Steve Francis trade. I don't know if it would be allowed, but if we won the lottery, I would trade the pick (James) to whoever had the #3 for their pick and a player/pick. Then we ship the #3 to Memphis and still get the player/pick out of the deal.
