Seriously. Morey moves on, taking the best deal on the table with him, and you can be sure the Lakers will lowball the hell out of Orlando as the last real suitor standing. It would be them and ATL.

I would rather have Bynum or Dwight over Asik

getting Lin was just one part of the puzzle, we need a Center that will bring fans to the Toyota Center

What could the Lakers possibly offer straight up? Bynum made it clear he would not resign with the Magic, and the Lakers couldn't take back any garbage contracts or give any young players or picks.

So, the Rockets will be in any deal involving Howard, whether they get him or not, correct? Because a willing to sign long-term Bynum is a hell of a consolation prize.

No way. What type of person wants Dwight Howard or Andrew Bynum over Omer Asik?

Asik will put butts in the seats! Dwight or Bynum? Good luck.

Correct ...sit back and enjoy the show but common basketball knowledge and common sense says we are in the driver seat .....Orlando knows we have to best offer on the table.......Atlanta is the competition ....not l.a.

I saw George Lopez at an Astros game earlier this season. Does that mean Houston is gonna be the site for a mediocre racially-based sitcom??

This has to be the worst analogy.

Would be different if Lopez was looking for a new place to shoot his show and was in Houston. Not the case though.

If we can get bynum or howard, ill came. I'd prefer bynum long term though over a unknown dwight.

Lakers are looking to salary dump as well.

It's possible that we could help them get Dwight by taking Bynum and also Gasol.

It would have to be fiddled to make it work, but
    Hou+ Bynum, Gasol, JRich, Duhon

    LAL+ Howard, Patterson, Davis, Turk

Orl+ Expirings (Martin, McRoberts, Livingstone,), Talent (Lamb, Jones, Goudelock, Morris), Picks (Tor + Dal + LAL 1st rounders)

Howard to LA is a done deal. I doubt he would have allowed himself to be exposed like this otherwise. Remember when Mario Williams had his girlfriend come to Buffalo.

In a way it is unfair. We are the ones giving up all the assets and draft picks that the Magic want yet we don't get the best player. For once, i wish we were the ones getting the best player instead of settling for 2nd best.

Any possible way the Lakers obtain Howard w/o giving up Bynum or Gasol?

somehow if they are able to keep all their pieces so starting lineup would be

    pg: Nash
    sg: Kobe
    sf: gasol
    pf: howard
    c: bynum

He's been in LA rehabbing his back though. The Dodgers might have just made him their guest. However, it's hard not to notice the writing on the wall.....as much as I WANT Dwight in Rockets Red, that dream is fading faster and faster everyday.

No. There is no way. They'll most likely keep Gasol at the 4, and lose Bynum to Houston.

If we can't get Howard, I don't even want in. No way should we give up a Dwight-worthy package and get an unextended Bynum. Let the Hawks get involved, keep us out of there.
