    Maybe thats why Greg Smith was held out of the Summer League game yesterday.... Orlando saw enough, he changed their mind, and had to have him.

    to be fair, I'm not so sure Bucher was hating on Houston before as much as he just sucks as an insider and really hadn't even considered our offer. Now that he has a grasp on what we can and are trying to do, he is making a little more sense. Either way, he's an idiot.

    Maybe its cause he's a homer to Brooklyn, and was trying to sell the nation on how great Brook Lopez is.

    Duhh I know that..but I'm saying why get Dwight when you have no idea if he's healthy or will resign...Every superstar is usually drafted and I would take my chances in the draft than a one year rental

    Makes absolutely no sense. We wouldn't let the Lakers upgrade the center spot for free when we could just acquire Howard ourselves. This is pure speculation.

    Sounds like more Shenanigans by Rob Hennigan! :rolleyes:

    Ditto everyone else :p

    You don't giftwrap Howard to LA.

    People say, well go after Bynum, you won't have to give up as many prospects and you take back less trash from Orlando. Not necessarily. With Dwight to LA and Bynum here, Orlando still needs something for Howard. LA has nothing to send their way. No prospects, no picks and can maybe only take back one bad contract.(They'd reportedly be able or are willing to take back Jason Richardson.)

    My point was. All players are drafted, with the exception of a few undrafted players. That doesn't mean you can't trade for one and win.

    I'll take the Chris Duhon contract if the Rockets get Bynum...

    That's all, though.

    @MagicInsider

    I'd want Andrew Bynum if I'm Orlando. You're not Miami, but you're a playoff team. You're relevant. You can sell it to Luxury-box folks.

    That's a great deal if we can keep the rookies and picks, only giving up maybe morris, kmart and taking back a bad contact. Dream situation.... would love it over dwight

    Not sure why people seem to think that if we get Bynum instead of Dwight we will give up less.

    The Lakers have NOTHING to offer in this deal except for Bynum. If he isn't going to Orlando then it is still the Rockets making the Dwight trade and then trading Dwight for Bynum straight up. We'll still be the team that has to take contracts back and we'll still be the team that has to give up whatever it is that gets Orlando to move Dwight.

    Memo to Dwight: Lakers are clearly you're best option. You and your image can't afford to mark time in ORL or HOU this coming season.
