I think summer league is a good way to judge certain technique sometimes, but IMO it's not the end all be all of everything. Yes, competition will be a lot harder of course, but there is a good amount of time to work on things between the end of summer league and the beginning of preseason/regular season too.

    Nope, that'd be Parsons.

    Jones is clearly Lawrence Funderburke.

I said after his first game he's the most beautiful player we've had since the fleeting glimpses of a healthy TMac. He paints on the court.

He doesn't have the strength to guard 5s though. He's gotta guard somebody!

Lamb and Jones have started off better, but I think White has a lot of potential too. F D12!!

This is true, and even if he wants to play pf, he must get atleast 20 pounds of muscle. Because he falls down and pushed down by smaller players alot.

I agree and that is going to be his biggest weakness. He needs to improve on his defensive footwork and positioning big time.

This argument holds no water, because in actuality there really are only about 5 centers in the league even CAPABLE of eating somebody alive. And I'm not talking Eddy Curry here.

The Center position in today's NBA is predominantly a defensive position. You get a Noah or Nene or McGee in the middle for their ability to clog the paint, alter shots, etc etc. Not their back to the basket arsenal or killer drop step. D-Mo if he had to play center would be FINE guarding 1 on 1. It's the penetrating guards he needs to get better at stopping.

I've been on vacation for a week and I've missed all the SL action. Is there any good footage or highlights of the games so far? Thanks

That's right. In an uptempo style game, DMo is going to run the best of them out of the gym. He gets up and down the floor, not once, not twice, but every stinking possession he is scooting. That comes into play big time in the 4th quarter with foul count and the defenders being gassed.
