I know a lot of peepz on this board were talking about George Lynch a few weeks back. http://www.foxsports.com/nba/stories/bk0913kukoc1.sml Looks like there may be a contoversy up in Philly... maybe it will help us land another Shandon Anderson-type player to compliment our scoring guards. He would provide some much needed frontcourt defense. I believe Kukoc just signed a free agent deal, so there would be extra incentive for Philly to start him. It would allow Me-Myself-and-Iverson to not have to handle the rock in half court sets and run around looking for his shots. ------------------
George Lynch and Jerome Williams are at the very top of my Rocks wish list. Even with a controversy, the Sixers are not going to let Lynch go cheaply. Our "instant trade bait" of Bryce, 'Los, Walt, or KT (in any combination) won't land George Lynch. The Sixers were the 5th PO seed. They got Speedy Claxton to backup Snow. Since Theo plays some 4, they don't really need to address Nazr Mohammad's inabilities as backup PF (yet). This is a good team and IMHO they won't take less than a starter (or possibly the 6th or 7th man in a rotation) for Lynch. Walt for Lynch is NOT even close capwise. In the trade checker it took Cato & Walt & KT for Lynch and Tyronne Hill. We stand a good chance at Morris, Battier, or Murphy. Maybe we should hold on. ------------------ Is it Preseason yet??!!
