    That's all this contract is about... To buy more Chinese fans... nothing personal...

    Lin is a nice player... But still not worth that contract... At lease Cato and Anderson started more games (still doesn't mean crap.. they didn't deserve the contracts).

    So I will agree with you that this is about business and necessarily winning basketball games or trying to create a championship caliber team.

    To be fair he is getting 24 mil off basically a 20 or so game stretch. I mean it is not kelvin cato 1 preseason game ridiculous, but it is a lot for a guy who has done it in a limited stretch.

    Huge, bloated, contracts are given out in the NBA so often, and yet I've never heard players criticize another potential teammates' contract, much less player from another team...until now.

    Maybe I just haven't paid attention, but in any case I'm pretty sure it's rare.

    For someone who hates snitching, Melo has a funny way of showing it. This dude continues to amaze me in all the wrong ways.

    As for JR, he has been in the league much longer. And that's the problem. Everyone is way too familiar with his attitude. Maybe if no one knew him well he'd have a bigger contract too.

    So in all honesty, do you think George Hill is worth 8 million a year over 5 seasons or Hibbert is worth almost 15 million over the next 4 years? A truly backup quality shooting guard who does not possess great play-making ability and a center who doesn't even average 14 ppg and 10 rebs or provides impenetrable defense is worth almost 15 million.


    Am I going insane here or is it because the fact that I am from Venus that I don't understand these things.

    I knew lin would get overpaid due to all the linsanity hype but I didn't expect morey to fall for it, normally doesn't overpay for mediocre talent.

    This is by far the most desperate I've seen Morey..Is his contract expiring as gm?
