Tis why I wOnt take the posting serious...... Because you have no proof that it is a legit game worn jersey. I can go buy a jersey from the store and say Scola used it but I would have no proof. If you have a issues
Welcome to Clutchfans. Based on this you can guess how the political or basketball sections are as well.
Feel for OP, some of you guys act like true azzholes on here. This is the sell/buy section and if you're not interested in this item then the whole "he's not with the Rockets anymore" etc. posts are not helping anyone. He just wants to sell the jersey of a former fan favourite for a price that's lower than on other sites.
Instead of 'not taking the posting serious' why not ask a question - I can show you the Meigray COA if you'd like, you should be able to check up on the serial number in the database too. Meigray are the only source of game worn jerseys that you can be 100% sure of as they get them directly from the NBA and they have a partnership with several teams.
SO WHAT?? In my registration it asked why I was joining and I said "To be honest, I'm only really here to try to sell this item". They approved my membership. I was advised to try to sell it here BY A MEMBER. I'm offering an item that you may not be able to get otherwise, incase any of you might want it. What is so wrong with that? It's not like I got it for $200 and am asking for $800 - you can't buy these for less than $695 online!!
hairyangryfella, unfortunately this is what usually happens in the B/S/T section. Every Joe-blow has some wisecrack to say about the item being sold. It's like a troll frenzy. These are the guys that buy fake jerseys off ebay and think they got a 220+ authentic Revolution 30 jersey for $25.00. Try going over to the forum on www.gameuseduniverse.com
Ok well maybe your price is to high. A used Kobe jersey is going for 404 dollars right now. I log Scola and all but I would prefer to buy a Kobe jersey that I know will be worth much more than spend a 150 more dollars on a Scola jersey that won't be worth much in the future
I'm sorry man but you're acting like the gestapo. If I happened to have some Jazz merchandise (for some ungodly reason) I might go try to sell it to Jazz fans. It's not personal war and doesn't require hostility. This is just a case of everyone needing to take a potshot to try to earn some rep. You're not being forced to buy anything. You're not even forced to look. It's not your site. Move along, these are not the droids you're looking for...
There is no way the Kobe jersey is going to sell for anywhere near $400. There are still over 3 days left on that auction, it will probably go for over $2000 (a Tony Parker jersey sold for over $1500). I would say this is about the right price on the Scola.
Honestly, who cares? He's here to sell an item in the part of the forum designed just for this. It's not that big of a deal. I swear, every new member on this Forum just get's attacked with hostile comments.
People on here need to gain some knowledge before running their mouths. Lebron's game 3 of the finals jersey sold for $ 35,020.00 http://auctions.nba.com/cgi-bin/nco...br=186500062&prmenbr=51136034&aunbr=186846772 Open NBA auctions: http://auctions.nba.com/cgi-bin/nco...2w/report?wl=51136034&term=jerseys&sort=items
Listen, the OP mightve gotten some unnecessary responses, but I don't see the point in comparing LeBron's (a top 5 most popular player) game 3 NBA FINALS jersey to a regular season jersey of a non-allstar player thats already switched teams? I know its hard to sell stuff on this site, but I also wouldnt buy anything from someone that just joined the site, as they are likely a broker/dealer. I know he got referred to the site and asked for permission to post, so there's nothing wrong with him trying to sell. Best of luck.
I'd rather have this Horry jersey http://www.ebay.com/itm/Robert-Horr...-Road-Red-ROOKIE-Jersey-Alabama-/230821133074 or this Mad Max http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vern-Maxwel...it-Jersey-Florida-/230820994612#ht_6696wt_905
Thank you to the reasonable people who have since posted on this thread... FYI - this guy is known to 'customize' jerseys - so he may very well have taken common player jerseys or even blanks and switched/applied new names and numbers. That is why Meigray jerseys are so expensive - they are without doubt the real deal as they are sourced direct from the NBA.
