its funny how some ppl blame scola for being mediocre if you dont remember scola is a champ he has won the olympics over the usa and countles tournaments in europe and international tournaments. The reason this team is where it is is bc yao and tmac are made of glass
Your head must be far out in space...moth. How do you call 90/50/40 career and 14/9 with under 3 TO's a game ALONGSIDE 2 MVP's overrated???
I was hoping he would get scooped up by a contender (anyone except Miami of course), but I wish him well. Scola is possibly the toughest player I've ever seen (mentally).
Nash isn't that bad on D. He's a subpar defender but people watch him get crossed up by Rondo and assume he's the worst. He's not, watch tapes of Calderon or Gay during his first 3 years and Nash will look like Russel in comparison.
Scola Channing Frye Beasley Markieff Morris Hakim Warrick Maybe they are trying to beat Morey in 'who can get more PFs'.
Now that they are about to lose Grant Hill, Beasley will probably play SF. Markieff Morris is as talented as his brother so that means he is pine bound. Warrick has too many deficiencies so that leaves Frye spelling Gortat and Scola. All the Suns need is a SG and they will be dangerous. Dragic / Marshall SG???? (OJ Mayo?) Beasley / Childress Scola / Frye Gortat / Lopez
you mean he was starting. they are looking for a starting 2, so he's (probably) going to lose that particular job. starting at 3 maybe? but i don't think they paid Beasley 18 mil with an intention of him being Dudley's backup for 16-18 minutes a game. I think their (planned) rotation will be something like PG Dragic-Marshall SG Mayo-Dudley SF Beasley-Dudley PF Scola-Frye C Gortat-Lopez But I don't rule out later changes, of course. That lineup will be very deficient defensively, slow, ball stopping. I think it will fail, and then they may adjust something. Like --- shopping Frye, using Beasley mainly as a backup at 4, giving Dudley most of the minutes at 3. That seems reasonable. It doesn't look like that's the current plan, though.
