...I believe Kevin Martin can become relevant again. Imagine the inside/outside game with a low post presence and Lin and Martin on the perimeter. Fap.
Provided we dont trade Martin in a deal for Howard, how would you propose getting the salaries to work?
News flash: Salaries of traded players have to be within a certain range of each other. Since the Rockets are under the cap, the players must be within 150 percent (plus 100K) of the salaries being traded, or 100 percent of the salaries being traded plus $5 million. Kevin Martin's salary is about 13 million, and the second highest is Shaun Livingston at 3.5 million. Since Dwight Howard makes 19 million, KMart would have to be the center piece, financially, of the trade.
Love how you resort to name calling yet you're COMPLETELY wrong. There is no workable trade where we keep Martin.
False In fact I think if Asik is matched, it is very possible Martin is not sent and rerouted to another team for a significant piece to pair alongside Howard. We don't have to match salaries, we can just absorb salary until we hit the cap. We could absorb Dwight and then match Jrich or whomever against Morris/Patterson/Whomever.
One of the reasons why I hate reading Clutchfans nowadays, is because of lame ass threads like this... Please don't post dumb ass posts ever again. Waste of space and waste other people's time reading it. Kevin Martin will be traded or moved. IBTL!
