We all know what Hack a Shaq is, and now shawn kemp just showed yesterday the new trend is scratch a YAO. I saw the game on tape yesterday with slow mo replay at that and CLEARLY that was a intentional scratch made by Kemp on YAO 's back that resulted in 2 long scratch mark that bleeded. Notice too that the previous scratch mark on his arm is still quite visible . Bad skin which heals slowly ? Bring on the derma
Yao used an armband for the scratch on his arm. Now he has nothing to use for the scratches on his back. You cannot expect him to use a bra.

You know what? It sure looked like it *was* intentional. Fatboy was getting mighty frustrated by that point and decided to try the girly approach. I hope the league office looks at the tape on that one.
From Friday's Chron: Rocket Summary Rockets center Yao Ming finished Wednesday's game with a fresh collection of gashes across his back, courtesy of Shawn Kemp. They were the fifth set of deep scratches across his back or the back of his arms that Yao has gotten this season. But in some ways, Rockets coach Rudy Tomjanovich said they could be considered badges of honor. "It could be on those spins," Tomjanovich said. "People have their hands on him when he spins. He's quick. And he has that good touch." Yao said he did not remember what move cost him some skin, but did not think it was intentional. "I really don't know," Yao said. "It had to be somebody other than me. That's all I know."
Well, I will be very worried when the likes of Kemp clawing all over me; god knows where his hands had just been or what he touched before the game.
I propose mandatory manicures for all forwards and centers. I also propose random fingernail testing be instituted to enforce the rules. Players may be asked at any time to open a cellophane packaged compact disc without using a pocketknife. If successful, the players must serve a 2 game suspension. Players may protest the results of the package test if they agree to play 4 bars of "Stairway to Heaven" on an acoustic guitar supplied by the NBA.
Looking at this picture, I felt sorry for those who have to guard Yao. I play forward on our team and often had to switch over to guard opposing team's center. Sometimes the only thing I could do to stop these big guys is by playing dirty.
