    CAPTION TIME!

Lady: Lin, you come to Houston, me love you long time!
Lin: OK... I'll convince Knicks to go for another PG and to leave me alone.

BOTH WHISPER to each other: Rockets!

    AND... Break! :)

As a long time Rockets fan I will wait before getting too excited. I have seen the team get the rug pulled out from under them before.

Best thing about Lin is that he's got the "it" factor in spades...always been a winner, end-of-game clutch player who shows up a big in the biggest of games. Great knack for taking over in crunch time. Also the reason why Carmelo resented him in NY.

Here's a thought. What if the Knicks are putting out the word they won't match just to screw with us for 3 days because they felt like Morey screwed with them by changing the deal? Gamesmanship.

I think it strengthens our position with Dwight too. We went out and got you the best (most hyped) PG available and arguably the best back-up center. Hopefully this shows Dwight we'll surround him with the best available, as opposed to what Orlando came up with.

Talent wise goran is better, but Morey prioritizing the bottom line (future salary cap implications).

Crazy rumors circulating that #Cavs are embroiled in trade talks with Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Lakers. Cavs would receive center Andrew Bynum from the Lakers. Cavs would possibly send Anderson Varejao, Tristan Thompson and picks to the Magic. Story was first reported by HoopsWorld. This could also mean the Cavs might make a waiver claim on forward/center Luis Scola. Sulia

Not in right thread but just letting you guys know

Probably depends how Lin (and the team as a whole) plays during this upcoming season. But I agree with your basic point. Lin, at least for now, has one thing Lowry and Dragic didn't: Star power. It may help convince Dwight. We will see if Lin can back it up with his play.

    I'd like to see:

    PG - Lin / Machado
    SG - Lee / Lamb
    SF - Parsons / White
    PF - Motiejunas / Davis / Jones
    ..C - Howard / Asik

That team has OKC potential right there!!
