    I don't think Lin affects the Dwight chase at all. why would Orlando want that contract if they were trying to rebuild?

    My guess is deal would fall apart if Hou ends up with both. ORL wants to unload bad contracts as well. RT @AjayTaunk: How many of the Magic's contracts can HOU take (in a Dwight deal) if they pick up both Lin and Asik?

    Haven't heard directly that it's real. But if HOU ends up with both Lin and Asik, Orlando may need to move on to Plan C. Would that be the Lakers? Quite possibly. RT @jkane34: what do you think of this supposed lakers/cavs/magic trade?

    I would be happy getting Lin, but Asik needs to go to the Bulls if signing him jeopardizes a deal with Orlando. The Rockets need to ensure they stay Orlando's top option for Howard.

    DMo and Asik is a nice, big, young front court. But not to worry. Morey will find a way to add Howard and we'll have three 7 footers.

    This. Morey must know that Chicago will match, otherwise he wouldn't have upped the Lin offer.

    Or maybe we take on big contracts anyway, pay some luxury tax for a year and then trade some of those contracts

    commentators right now for the rockets summer league game just said LIN to be Rockets starting point guard because NY release info that they will not match.
