I don't know if this is good or bad? I like Lin but is he worth the money? How does this effect cap space next year? How does this effect the Howard chase? What if Chicago doesn't match Asik? What does this all mean??? lol

Lin will have a break out year soon enough and will be worth his contract.

8mil for a PG is borderline all-star. I think he can do that IMO. Something around 18/7 - 20/8 I can see Lin doing. Especially on a recovering team. The question is how efficiently.

Lin's contract is spread out to be a little over 8mil per year for us. I guess this is why scola was amnestied. We would still be in the Dwight chase as well and could still take back stupid contract(s). And I'm not sure the asik offer sheet has been submitted yet.

I think Lin and D'Mo could run the PnR very well together

Felton is apparently saying the Knicks deal with Lin is off. Take that as you will.

Think the Rockets are starting to think 'oh crap we may have to play a guy with a 25-start resume all that money?'

Just what I was thinking. Even if we don't Dwight\Bynum, next year should be fun to watch, even if we'll still be stuck on the mediocrity treadmill.

It's a little like Hakeem just blocked Starks 3 point attempt again ;)

Just got off the phone with NBA free agent Raymond Felton. He says a deal is about to be completed sending him back to the NY Knicks.

Since there is a chance he might be a rocket, the same people that put him on the cover of their magazine in back 2 back weeks will now be like, " eh lin no big deal."
