And why would LA accommodate us with a sign and trade?

in case you weren't aware of it. bynum is the second best center in the league after dwight howard. i would gladly take bynum. is scola anywhere near the top 5 PF's? no. is lowry anwhere near the top 5 PG's? no.

bynum is a star, if you want to turn down the possibility of having a star, then i don't think you even deserve to make threads like this.

So would you want bynum and another max guy like:
    cp3? josh smith, millsap?

are clutchfans happy with that net result? of bynum + xyz max guy?

Bear in mind we are going on the assumption we will be giving up players still too. martin is likely gone and so is parsons and pick of litter on our rookies.

I have no problem with getting Bynum. At the end of the day, if it means we take one less bad contract and have to give up one less pick/young prospect, then good with me.

One of those do not belong. But other than that, yeah, I would be pretty happy with that net result.

You mean we aren't getting him for free? ****.

    you are funny.
he is a chump. Sorry if I am not excited about chumps. I was saying that scola and lowry were ballers.. I agree we need stars and willing to lose lowry and scola ..but hope it's not bynum as the final end all result. To end with a chump like bynum as the final result doesnt excite me at all. You feel differently and good for you !! Still bynum is a chump ..sorry about that.

Yeah I would just as soon keep the rookies and flexibilty, collect high pick and have 2 picks next draft, dmo parsons white lamb one year in, and the flexibility to move the best of that bunch. We could still get one of the unrestricted guys like millsap at that point. Being married to bynum doesnt seem so great and cant stand the guy either.

I dont see us getting any chance at cp3 unless howard comes here. I dont think cp3 and bynum would play as well together since bynum is more a dump it down. sure cp3 and bynum wouldnt be ba,d but do you really think cp3 would sign here with bynum? umm probably not.

let me approach the OP's question in a different way.

can you win a title if Andrew Bynum is your best player?

if we were to land him, it would be a good start...but I haven't seen enough to answer yes to that question

Yeah building our future around bynum is a scary scary place to be. I am not sentimental here, please start another thread asking... I botched the poll anyway. I truly want to know what clutchfans thinks.

Here we go again. He can not be traded till Dec. 15th. I doubt this DH drama will go that far.

Having the 3 way trade would be better in that the Rockets do not have to take back all the bad contracts Magic want to unload. It will save at least two of the current draft picks.

Mad Max is one of my favorite players all time .... I'd really welcome a guy with his attitude on this roster. Bynum might not be as crazy but he does have the same attitude on the court.

To answer the OP's question - I'd probably prefer Bynum to Howard. He's a little better offensively , he and Motejunas would be a hell of a front court.

Get me Bynum and find me a point guard .... Im happy.

Draft picks can traded 30 days after they sign their contract. The Kings and Rockets agreed to the Donte Greene-Artest trade during Summer League.

I would take the number 2 center in the league any day...in a couple years don't be surprised when he is actually the best center in the league
