Howard to the lakers is what I have been saying for a long time.. I am in LA market and they have whole sections of sports talk about getting howard. It has been on the plate since the beginning.

I see ORL calling LA and saying 'This is what HOU is offering'

and then I can see LA really trying to make it happen or countering. I think scola and lowry were exampless of morey showing ORL 'okay here's my counter offer'

Hennigan is going back and forth with kupchak and morey until one of them says 'uncle'

I don't think ORL will do it since I don't know who else or what else LA can offer that is better unless bynum can agree to sign. Even then is byum more than what rockets are offering? Does ORL really want bynum? Do we? I just dont see bynum being as big a prize as some think. I don't see gasol happening for ORL since I would assume ORL doesn't want to take on his contract.

Still I wouldn't be surprised at all about Howard in LA since that has been the talking point from day 1.. somehow these kinds of things are willed to happen and who knows what else dark forces could be involved.

I like it with the predictions! I hope not.. just like ORL is concerned I am very concerned with a frail bynum hothead bynum.

Why can't it happen? Wasn't it stated that bynum said he would play in Houston?

My thing is if we get howard and he walks does that mean we have room for 2 max FA? Seems like the answer is yes if we structure things correctly. Seems like ORL is stuck with hedo and bad contracts unless they move it to someone like us that can absorb it. So seems like the better deal for ORL is with us.

So getting howard for one year isnt as big of a bad thing if we can clear it out for other new FA.. We could still g t 2 like bynum, smith, millsap, jefferson, devin harris at that point or could I guess wait for 2014 too right?don't see cp3 here unless we have howard and he is wanting to stay. even then do we know if cp3 and howard are buds?

I wouldn't be surprised if Howard ends up in L.A., but if he does, I think that means Bynum is a Rocket. I just can't see Orlando risking it on a guy that can walk at the end of next season. But, I can see why they would want to include L.A. (if we take Bynum), as the Lakers could trade Orlando the McRoberts expiring contract. Not a lot, but another $3 million plus.

god I hope all these shenanigans doesn't end us net result of bynum and a bunch of waste matter.
Bynum is hurt half the year, suspended the other half of playoffs and he parks in handicap parking places.

He is a genuine douchebag. I wouldn't mind him if we had a bunch of other parts but to gut team and lose ballers like lowry and scola for this dirtbag is the part that irks me. I might be more okay with it if we HAD scola and lowry to play along side bynum.

problem is that DM is deparate for a center or all-star on the roster. Even with Bynum being a hothead and knee problems, I still think he'll be here. Howard is looking for the big payday from Addidas, not a basketball contract.

I think we'll end up trading for Howard now and deal him at the trade deadline to LA. This isn't what Howard wants though because by then it's to late. He needs the big market now, which is why opting in to that last year was such a dumb move. He lost his leverage when he did that. My concern is that Howard will immediatly demand a trade as soon as he gets here and won't go all out for us. On the other hand, Bynum doesn't have that same inclination, he wants a max deal from a decent team where he can be the man.

I'm just happy we're actually rebuilding and not sitting on the same pieces.

The reason Adidas doesn't care bout Houston the fourth biggest
city in the country-until he come here-addidas wanted a super tea
the collusion between these important people and players is amazing.
When Howard is with Houston he will get the same deal Rose
got, or he will leave. This shoe deal bs is not going to affect a thing.
-Howard isn't going to sign with teams with no money
-there aren't any teams that have the money for him next off season
-and the rockets will be on national tv again when...we have a superstar
-it is what have you done for me lately
-ATM we haven't done a thing so no1 cares
-the moment chi one of the bigger cities above hou. Got hometown
Hero DRose what do ya know?-ya think people were begging
to watch those del negro coached teams-chill out we r building somethin

Sadly, your joke is absolutely true.

People forget that Mike Tyson is a convicted rapist.

Not just accused, not just charged--CONVICTED.

Yet he's still a media darling.

The Lakers are a big market team that needs a player as global as Dwight Howard?
