Well the people on the radio are delusional and/or all work under Ric Bucher...

Except for those radio hosts that are based in Houston :)

What's keeping Howard from saying he can't play because of his injury or having his docs say he can't play and riding the pine for the season?

them stalling means they are not content with our offer, but it's the best they've got. This is a great sign. Means Morey understands BATNA :)

People who work for sports radio don't have sources. They know as much as what the print/internet media reports.

Rockets have never, nor will they ever, offer that large package. No one is that dumb or desperate.

Nothing ... but he really will have crossed the rubicon as the official bad-guy of the NBA. Lebron thinks that's a selfish move.

You don't think that if he has lingering back issues that have kept him out of a season and a half, it wont effect his contract?

If it's obvious that he is faking, you don't think it will effect his contract or endorsements? He wants to be liked, this accomplishes the opposite.

I didn't bash him. I said he's not an insider, and it's true.

They might be able to but I bet if both teams declined to match, it might take us out of the Howard trade that has been discussed. I think the expectation is for NY to match. If they do, then Asik gets his offer. If they don't, I'd be curious to see if Asik doesn't get a "sorry".

The way I see the deal is we cut salary down to take on Howard's contract for picks and a massive TE. Then in a separate trade, take Orlando's bad contracts for Martin and other Rocket players.

I think I am over this trade I think they should just try to develop the young guys and hope you can get Bynum and a top pick next year.

Yes they can. If a team is under the salary cap they can aggregate salaries of players they recently traded for.

Looks like this is it. Morey's too smart to end up looking like a fool.
