    Your saying 25 mil guessing that we are getting hedo in return correct? What if hedo isn't a part of the deal? Like posted in othe threads and reports Amnesty Scola was to be able to sign two Max contracts next season. Everything in the report was already saying how we were guaranteed to get bad contracts in the Howard trade.

    Amazing how many hate Morey, and all he does is try to get us
    a superstar without a true rebuild
    -to Texasagg who thinks we won't have cap space read CH three on it

    Haha my bad buddy no I was just explaining how each deal
    even going bk to the Landry for Martin deal was important to
    this team-Morey looks three steps ahead, it works at times, sometimes
    "basketball reasons" make it not work ;)
    Thanks though for standing up for the Rockets, and not belittle
    the best trade since maybe Clyde drexler came to save the 95 season
    Of course that's only if he re-ups with us!;)

    Exactly-what we were just going to get Dwight lol!
    We will have money-if Turk isn't in deal we have enough
    to sign to Max contracts, if he is included with the others
    than we have enough for one superstar (I.e. CP3 doubtful)...
    but a possibility, also just an example.-if we don't keep CLee
    well then that changes stuff too-we may sign him up
    or trade for picks in a s&t to Boston so we do have picks even after
    the Dwight trade-
    Morey is already thinking that he has Dwight, and is on to the next "chess
    move"

    Labeling criticism of Morey as childish is more childish than anything. Whats also childish is the "just wait till the this happens" position given the fact you guys said the same thing about the draft and that ended up disaster. You sound more like a Morey PR guy than a Rocket fan.

    I can go on & on about the problems with Daryl Morey. Alot of you try to thrust him into legendary status but the problem is his track record isn't anywhere near it. You can argue his record has been poor up to this point. Until our franchise makes a move that'll benefit us long term then the criticism is justified. No more backtrackin

    Thanks to those that actually didn't diss my post bc
    "they want to be mad"-it is a forum so if people want to flame
    my opinion go ahead.
    I like what DM has tried, and has done.
    -I was not patient during the draft, but I see that this was a move
    where DM had to keep going, and not budge when Howard & agent
    & ORL FO were trying to act as if Brooklyn was going to happen
    -for a presti clone Hennigen would have been dumb to keep him
    in the east, and take bk worthless picks.
    Thanks to those that are appreciative, and thanks to those that flame me.
    It's an opinion fan site so not like I can force opinions on y'all.
    I can only try to explain that this is a great move, rather than
    trusting rookies, and hoping for another good draft.
    Another personal opinion is I don't think this draft will produce too
    many stars, but rather more along the lines of above avg. role players
    The NBA draft still accepts guys that get more immature by the year.
    Again just MO, and why I think trading the three picks isn't that big
    of a deal, since of course bud&bert were one of the "picks"

    So we traded crap for extra picks-if they wouldn't have been
    picks people would be fapping over the fact we got Dwight
    for Lowry, Bert, bud, Martin, and a couple picks-instead Morey
    made the players into better "assets"-we aren't going backwards
    Going backwards and treading on mediocrity is the 14th pick
    we've collected 3 years in a row

    Oh trust me I'm more of a rockets fan than the most of you. Cause I don't believe in tanking at all I want for the team to push for what they can every year. But I'm just saying Morey has set everything up to give what he fans want. He either gets Howard in and possibly trade for another star or if we don't get Howard we will have 3 1st round picks and 2 or 3 2nd round picks next year to start rebuilding. And then there's also the 3 team trade possibility that we land Bynum but the Rockets don't want to help the Lakers get better by getting Howard.

    Maaaaaaaaan, I have a sincere disliking for people like Darryl Morey and the OP, who flaunt around these degrees and exclaim themselves as the smartest people in the room who come up with all these variables and quantum physics equations about ft%=mx+B yada yada yada. They know most people aren't even gonna read through it and just take it as face value as some type of saber metrics basketball moneyball crap so they assume this guy knows what he's talking about. When in reality they nothing of what they speak of, ex: Darryl Morey running the Houston Rockets into the ground.

    We have d.Howard ..its only a matter of time. Lets see what kind of team he can put on the court with the big Guy. We have a year to convince him.so this should be a interesting Franchise changing year. We can be the magic lite if morey can't deliver other impact players, stars...chill people, lets see how this plays out ......
