[ESPN] Sources: New trade offer in works (for Dwight Howard)

What could it mean that the owner is sitting with the GM? Whats relevant about this?

 

If the Rockets trade away all their recent draft picks in addition to give up everything else I'm done watching them

Can ANYONE find a direct quote from Dwight where he said this, and not one from his agent? This has been asked for the past week and has never been answered.

 

I have to laugh at anyone who thinks we're giving up all that for Dwight and the crap contracts.

Dwight has never said he didn't want to come to Houston spastically. He wanted Brooklyn and now that's not an option.

That option is gone and now what?

This is a myth that has been repeated enough to become fact around here.

Morey haters and pro-tankers love parroting it, but it has no basis.

Morey is basically Trading for the Entire Magic Team and their horrible contracts; a team that Howard did not want to play for anyway.

Howard does not want to Play In Houston. He will sign with another team ( Dallas ) next year and the Rockets will be left alone with a bunch of crazy contracts, no prospects and very few draft picks left if any.

Only way Dwight stays is if Morey trades somehow for Josh Smith and hopefully can convince CP3 to join them but with what " assets " if he's trading everything away for a player who does not want to be here.

Morey is banking on Howard not turning down +$30 Mil as their own free agent but Dwight can make that with endorsements playing in a superior market like Dallas or L.A. Lakers. The Lakers will more than likely S&T an unhappy Bynum, Maybe that's what Morey is thinking, but why not get Bynum now with a 3 team deal??.

Why is Morey trading Parsons and ALL of the 3 new draftees,, just so he can Dwight here to play with the same teammates from Orlando ??

Why is Morey so convinced that DH will not fake injury and play hard for this team ? If DH starts to fake it and jake it he will bump heads with McHale and the rockets will have the same Magic nightmare of last year.

Bottom line If he's making this trade, do so but not by Trading away Parsons and all 3 draftees. Keep Parsons and White at least just in case this whole thing explodes in your face Morey..

 

I simply don't understand why everyone is so distraught that we're blowing up a NON-PLAYOFF team.

 

I wasnt talking about Dwight if you read what I said...I'm saying we get Dwight and then the offseason comes up everybody expects another star to come play with him but who's to say that other star wants to come here? That's risky

 

Could be approving a trade or something... But people are probably looking to hard into this.

I haven't found a direct quote, but it is pretty much implied maybe even know that he reupped with Orlando so he would not be traded to Houston and Houston has never been on his list of possible destinations he would sign a longterm deal with.

I don't think he ever said he wanted SVG fired, yet he was (I still think Howard in part had something to do with this)

 

Who gives a crap what he trades for Howard anyways.

Its not like any of the trades before made sense anyways. His thought process is only understood by his "genius" mind.

After next year, when Howard leaves, he can then take Boy Genius with him.
