    Well considering we might trade for Howard it seems like a video most people would like to see, Einstein !!!

    Seriously some of ClutchFans can never be satisfied. It is as if they are always grumpy.

    Thanks for the reposting the video. Someone posted it up a few years ago when everyone speculating in thinking Dwight may have a chance in coming here because of Hakeem's ties with Houston but if memory serves me right, pretty sure we still had Yao at the time so people were arguing about Yao VS Dwight. (which Yao won, statistically) Still a great video, I'm just tired of waiting for this trade to happen. Nothing's going to happen this weekend for sure though, waiting on trying to see if anyone matches for Lin and Asik.

    But that brings to question, would the Bulls AND NY both not match those contracts if they respectively thought they could get in with the Howard sweepstakes? Not sure what the math would be but I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be able to absorb as many Magic players if we were actually signing both Lin and Asik.

    Yao won statistically? go back watch every video of Yao vs Dwight game, and you will see how mightily Yao made Howard struggle on the court.

    Just watching and hearing the voice of Hakeem brings such a pride for me in our city. He was a phenomenal human being, he was a phenomenal leader. We were so lucky to have him on our Rockets. Don't get me wrong, I loved Elie, Horry, OT, Sam, Kenny and Max, but it's not the same. I loved Drexler and Barkley, borrowing their star power, trading it for a chance to play with Dream, and it's cool when I see them now, to remember they went WORK for the Rockets, But, for me, Olajuwon was not only Clutch City!, Rockets red; he was my college graduation, my June '94 wedding and honeymoon. Something about him. Something about the leader, the Big man, the Center, something about being our Super Star. There is just something to running the best player on the floor and watching him clown other cities' best (are you listening Mr. Robinson?).

    If Dwight Howard can bring even (remotely) close to what Olajuwon gave the city of Houston, give them a fair deal for him and start to load up around him. I would imagine it would take a lot, because, I don't know what a fair deal would have been in the mid-90's for Hakeem. I can tell you had he been traded then, that I wouldn't have intertwined the Rockets with the some of the greatest memories of my life.

    If you are too young to have enjoyed the power of Clutch City --- stay tuned. In my opinion Dwight brings us one huge step toward reliving the "good old days".

    The video is from 2010, when Howard took steps toward getting an offensive game.

    That being said, apparently Howard only spent a short time with Dream because his offensive game still pales compared to Olajuwon's... or even Kobe Bryant who also went through similar training.

    Is true, Yao dominated Dwight in every facet of the game, and made Dwight a hinderance to his team, seeing as the Magic never won vs Yao. Dwight dominates every other center now, so, line em up, and let's put how amazing Yao was to rest, since only injuries stopped him from the HoF as a player. If Dwight is here, he will stay, and we will be set for a while, so just enjoy the vid(s).
