Meh, should be an all British cast or have a high caliber actor to anchor this type of film but then again this is entirely from the trailer...

 

Are you kidding? WoO is 100% made in the USA. It's from the same literary cloth as Disney, back when the USA was in its prime in terms of contributing to classy literature.

 

No kidding. Where is he getting British actors from? Based on an American book and a remake of a American classic. WTF?

 

I can't wait. I love flicks like this, and it's about time The Wizard of Oz was revisited.

 

Is it based on any books? Like the way the Wicked broadway show was? Like a twist on an old story type of deal?

You forgot the part where I said "Or," James Franco, heck I'd rather have Johnny Depp as the lead... And I'm pretty sure Rachel Weiz is British???

 

@Dei, Oh is Andrew Garfield American??? Yeah I thought so.. I'm not even talking about changing the story from the novel I'm speaking in casting only, not the story, big difference...

 

So why would it make a difference in casting a Brit? If Brits can play Americans. I think Americans should be able to play Americans. Maybe, maybe no?

There ain't nothing wrong with it, show was great stuff.

 

That makes no sense. So why not just say I don't want James Franco in that role? What's the deal with all British cast? Because being British somehow automatically makes them better than James Franco?
