My wife and her cousin saw him a couple years back. Said it was a great show filled with old folks.

Saw John in the 80s at Rockefeller's (when it was still a music venue).

    Such a great show!

Well, it still is a music venue...you just have to rent it out! The stage is not as deep as it used to be though. I actually played two gigs there recently...

I miss Rockefellers (and Satellite Lounge). My friend managed the box office in the mid-90's. Got to see so many great shows.

Hell....I'll play any gig as long as the money is green.....

People do hire blues bands for weddings. Why they hire us I don't know, since alot of our songs are about drinking, drugs, nasty sex, heartbreak, etc. etc........

I saw Jerry Jeff Walker at Rockefellers circa 1990. Love John PRine... especially "Hello in There" and "Donald and Lydia."

Saw him in a gymnasium in Lexington Virgina somewhere around 1980 .

There's not a bad song on prime prine (I especially like sam stone and the great compromise), which I had on vinyl when it was released in the late 70's. Still in my closet somewhere. :)

You youngsters have probably never heard of him, but he is a great singer/songwriter (right up there with Dylan) and influenced many a singer out there today.

Thanks for the heads-up, brother. Didn't know about his tour, I'll have to catch the show in Corpus.

If you ever want to play some blues hill country lakeside, give me a shout, I have the venue.
