Why bother to comment sarcastically... pointless to hear your opinion on the matter.

The more you think about it, they should really get a deal with Aaron Brooks done.
There is no better PG to have on this team now because he is familiar with the system. Second would be Ish.

    Undersized SG.

Would pair very well with our stable of undersized PFs.

As a fan, I honestly don't care what we do. Still have no idea what morey is going to do this offseason. I still remember how much people were hating on AB in the games leading up to his trade. He was straight up chucking up shots, and being very unproductive.

Even if he's not familiar with the system, he's familiar with the city which is a plus.

Meanwhile, Aaron Brooks is keeping his mad skillz sharp by playing against elite-level competition. He just tweeted "Basketball Camp in Brownsville Texas" and linked to the following pic:

Believe it or not, Brooks is the most important free agent out there for us. He already knows the system and a couple of the players. I even think he is ready to be a leader at the point now.
Bring Brooks back as our starting point with Machado backing him up.

The fact that we traded Brooks for Dragic isn't a knock against Brooks. It just means we valued Dragic more. But we don't have either one; so that's not an argument against getting Brooks back.

Poor d, poor passer, scorer with an average shot percentage, and too old to be a project.

What would he bring to the table compared to the young pg on the SL roster?

Familiar with... what system? Not only do we have an entirely new coaching staff, but only 3 players from ABs time here remain (would be 2 after Scola's amnesty, would be 1 after a potential Martin-trade, and would be 0 if PPat is traded in the Howard package....)

I do think he should be signed and is a serviceable starting PG, but that has nothing to do with his familiarity to anything other than Toyota Center.

Wow have some of you guys forgotten his p***y poor AB's court vision was? How many times he would take it to the rack to get stuffed? How he couldn't find time to learn the art of an entry pass? That his D was the worst u have ever seen the position play? And I have seen terrible PGs try to play D. Or how he didn't make his team mates better, he just chucked shots at a pretty alarming rate. Especially for as low as his percentage was with the Rox.

At best he is a poor man's Steve Franchise during his knicks years. Lol. Really people, plus he hasn't played competitive minutes for over 3 years.
