Rockets involved in trade talk for Dwight Howard or Andrew Bynum

Have I missed anything since earlier today that would lead us to believe a trade could still happen?

 

Fu** Espn and Doucher(bucher). Once again they refuse to mention Houston In this conversation. This lakers, NY, MIA, espn man love is played put. They should start they're own league with those 3 or 4 teams.

I'm looking for similar info. I understand the Nets are out of it, but then there was no indication that the Magic would continue looking at their options.

I know they said they're not on any arbitrary timeline, but thats just ridiculous PR speak. Time to step up, Hennigan.

Can you imagine the state of Clutch Fans if that were the case?

 

You realize if we land Dwight, that we will most likely go through this again after the season?

Absolutely nothing has changed except for Brooklyn dropping out of the race. I would be surprised if Dwight wasn't traded between now and a week from now.

 

Hopefully that means the Rockets are talking with the Magic.

 

What about his attitude? His 3 point attempts in the middle of games last season. The guy flat out said he thinks he can shoot threes. He disrespects his coaches not named Phil Jackson.

I'm telling you, he plays off Kobe and Pau. Thats why he gets the numbers he does.

Scola meanwhile, has nowhere near the supporting cast, and Scola gives you a constant 15 and 8, and never misses games. Scola's attitude is excellent. He plays smart. He does things that dont show up in the stat sheet. Check the career stats. Scola gets a huge edge with hustle. Yet Bynum is way better than Luis?

Bynum was a 4th option on 2 championship teams, but now Rockets fans prefer him over Howard as a 1st option? That is nuts.

6.5 rebounds now rounds up to 8?

Sure his attitude could use an adjustment, but I'd take it over Howard's. Gasol only hurts Bynum's numbers. Bynum is the 2nd best player on the Lakers. I'm not concerned about the 3s, as he took 5 total last year. Twice he did it pretty stupidly, but twice in a season isn't the end of the world.

Bynum averaged 19 & 12. And as the focal point of the offense will probably give you 22-24ppg. He is a better scorer, rebounder, defender, and shot blocker than Luis Scola. Scola does hustle more, but if hustle was enough, Ryan Bowen would be a max player.

Once upon a time, Olajuwon was considered to have an attitude problem...

 

Do the Magic think they'll get more as more time passes or what? I don't understand delaying trading Dwight. I don't think they really have a lot of leverage here.

 

Hopefully. I'm just worried that their whole coaching search spiel means they've put this entire thing on hold. In addition to that, the whole "we don't have any arbitrary timeline" thing worries me.

 

Their GM is an idiot. Plain and simple. If Morey pulls out of this they are ****ed!!!
