...because teams are lining up to give picks and cap space for 32-33 year old non-star PFs with 3 years/30 mil left and a recent decline in production. If that was easy, Morey would've done it already.

I think the only reason Howard is not a Rocket right now is because the Rockets lack the space to take Richardson and Duhon? With the two trades the Rockets made for cap space (Sammy D and Camby) they cleared enough money but the problem is those players are not eligable to be traded again till Aug. If I was at the table I would put together 2 seperate trades that would be agreed apon and one going through now and the other in Aug. I would be willing to bet Morey has offered to take Howard, JRich and Duhon. He has offerd the pick from the Raptors and either a future 1st rd Rocket pick or the Mavs protected 20 pick (whichever one comes first).The young players will be broke up into 3 groups and the Magic will be able to pick one from each group. Dmo or Lamb-White or Parsons-Morris,Jones or Patterson. Then of course Martin will be included So the two deals would could be Howard and Duhon for Martin,Lamb,Parsons,White and the draft picks Then Richarson will be delt in Aug for a combination of players centered around the 2 trades the Rockets made....If DMO is picked as a must have in this deal this is when he will be traded as well.
